    recipe link here

Thanks Greenbee. I make a low calorie version if I'm feeling weight watcher(ish) using elmlea cream and canderel type sugar stuff.

For more posh dinner party type pud, I'd use the juice and zest of an orange, and a generous splash of cointreau in with the rhubarb at the stewing stage. *licks lips*

Another star:confused: apart from the 2 I have given you for the above??? And I must say I am EXTREMELY impressed that you did the washing up and degunked the fridge in under 40 minutes - well done you for getting to grips with it:T:T - of course you realise now that you have done it once there is no reason for you not to do it again!!! I will not be accepting any excuses now:rotfl::rotfl:

lil_me good to see you posting I have been missing your posts - hows the studying going - hope you are managing to catch up- like the 'payment' for your 2 assistants!!! I must get into my budget too although I have cut back loads but the decorating has taken a lot of what I put aside for emergencies:rolleyes: (but its worth it to have a comfortable place)

Dead easy... stew rhubarb, cools, stir into cream... fools are just fruit stirred into cream, so you can do this with anything!
Is it really that simple greenbee - remember I'm not good in the kitchen - I have rhubarb too and I do make crumble (remember the ready made mix!!:rotfl:) but fool would slide down just now - do you think I could use creme fraich instead of cream as I have a big tub in the fridge just now?
mudbath you are very welcome honey I am so pleased that your dad found something he could listen to - there may be some more as I couldnt find the ones I was looking for but I may have decluttered them to the charity bag in one of your 60/60's:rolleyes:.
hello Mudbath's DS you are very welcome - I am delighted you havent got that one - enjoy it!:D
poohbear thats a huge overspend - I hope you manage to sort it out without too many drastic changes
roxy7699 ooooh will she enjoy a new clothes shopping trip then? well done anyway for doing it - and just as well you noticed before she outgrew everything!!!
welcome to the thread doelani and igiveup - will send you a pm shortly but in the meantime beware of the residents they can be a bit mad at times!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Carol22 thank you honey for the lovely card - that was so sweet of you:A:A its been added to my collection of flylady notes and treasures.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
cally_c awh sweetie huge (hugs) for you and DD - hope the situation has resolved itself and you are feeling less stressed - take it easy until things return to 'normal'. xxxxxxx
greenbee you dont mow until the leaves have started to shrivel/go brown I think - then you know that the goodness has gone back into the bulb.- I am sure some of the more experienced gardening flyers will correct me if thats wrong. I know here the town gardeners dont mow until the daff leaves have died back.
Igiveup - like the others have said try to decide how you want your garden to look and then pick a section to work on - you will feel so much better if you can see improvement in part of it. maybe make a list [a detailed one of course!!:rotfl: (I love lists you will sound find out!!)] of what needs doing and in what order - tick it off and you will see your progress. I have a photo of a similar type of garden that I want to achieve and keep going back to it to remind myself what I am trying to achieve.
Princess Jane LMAO at muffingate - whenb is next installment please I dont want to miss it :rotfl::rotfl: I think you are being exceptionally restrained about it all - I would have probably fed her to the nearest crocodile!!!

sexy could you not find a nice hunky asssistant /trainer to check it over and apply the ice pack????????? ooops sorry that would be Valli not you!! I am glad you have arnica that will bring out the bruising quicker and it will help it heal quicker too. (((hugs)))

    Yes it is that simple!

It won't be the same, but stirring fruit/stewed fruit into creme fraiche is a delicious way of eating it (I even like it with yogurt ;)). It's even easier than making crumble, as you don't have to make the crumble :D

    Evening All

Flower- well the fitter is coming next Monday (can't believe so soon) to sort out some pipe work and move the radiator and take the old boiler away (only been there 2 years since we first started planning an extension)
I have a man coming on Wednesday to measure up and do some plans but I think that I know pretty much what I need/want. Any suggestions ideas are more than welcome

As a bonus I have realised that it won't really be worth while doing a proper kitchen clean as I won't have it for long so may just have to box up some stuff and do some freezer foods to defrost to try and make my live easier.

May try and sort out my bedroom and move some stuff up there.
