Really pleased it's over for now for you toots, make sure you get plenty of rest and recharge your batteries properly
Just toasting a crumpet an then taking that and a can of guinness (!) off to watch the apprentice

Last night was OK... it was good for me to get out! Due to the event being in central london I didn't get home until 1.30... got to bed just after 2am and was up at 6am to go to the gym! I thought I'd have an early night tonight, having forgotten that we were going out as one of my team who has been with me on a six month secondment is going back to his day job. So they bought him... and made him eat... a 64oz steakI still feel ill from having watched
Got home around 9.30, so have skimmed the thread and am about to go to bed and catch up on sleep. I hope to wake up in time to go for a swim tomorrow, as I've got a team lunch with my old team tomorrow (yes, that's three meals out in three days ) and also have LOTS of work to do before the weekend (I've got next week off).
Will catch up properly at the weekend... Hugs all round... you're all lovely0 -
Valli, hope things go well with your dad’s stent op
Sexy, why did the window sellers stay for such a ridiculously long time? You must have been really fed up by the time they left!
Penelope, we would never bash a board guide on here! You do a good job as far as I can see
Dusty, glad your DS did well in the cricket
Mummyof5, hope the baby is in the right position! Tell us what it is when you get back!
Glad to hear about your auntie FFP
Greenbee, glad you had a good time out but what did you wear?
Have managed to declutter my dinner and had a lovely evening watching the Apprentice! What a bunch of numptys!
Really really must do something about the bathroom tomorrow. I've tamed the kitchen, and cleaned the loo earlier in the week but the sink and bath need washing. Kitchen floor needs hoovering urgently. Bed needs changing. As long as I get these things done by Friday then I will be happy. Will try to get up at a reasonable hour tomorrow and tackle it slowly. The kicked in the gut feeling is going so that's good!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Any ideas how to clean metal blinds? mine are all dusty and look greasy!!!ll
is it venetian blinds? - put them in the bath with biological washing powder to soak and then they will need a wipe down and rinse off - hang outside on washing line to dry - thats what FFp has just done!
AnW'sMum well done to the SW's - you have every right to be proud.:T
DayDreamBeliever you are doing really well - next week why dont you try to do the jobs you hate first and get them out of the way and then the rest of the list will be a doddle?? Good to hear your manager is trying to sort things and I hope it isnt too long before morale improves.. An 8stone woof - what have you got -a rottweiller, a newfoundland ....????
Penelope Penguin I havent seen the other thread but you are quite safe here - I like to think we are your friends - but we appreciate that you have a job to do as well - you are always very fair -I would be angry if I found out that someone was having a go at you, (((hugs)))Evening all,
Had window sellers round for a quote on Monday night - they got there at 7.30pm and didn't leave until gone midnight! That is so ridiculous - I wouldnt have been so patient!!!
sexymouse xxx

Abbie...about worrying baby getting nutrients...I think you mentioned there was a time of day sometimes when you didn't feel quite so sick. Could you take a suitable multi vitamin at that time? Might make you stress less about the baby getting what it needs. Have a chat to your midwife and see if she thinks its a good idea.
Hi Sunnygirl. Actually what you are saying is really sensible. I am taking special pregnancy vitamins, which I have been having first thing in the morning. Like you said, I should try taking them at a different time of day, when I am not suffering with the sickness. Thanks hun x
Pigpen - you have helped put my mind at rest with regards to the baby getting the right nutrients....thank you x I had to smile when reading about your nails. I have acrylic tips on my nails and have done for about the past 10 years. I have them done every two weeks without fail. When I had the children everyone said "you won't be able to have those nails when you have your baby!" Even the midwife went on about my nails while they were delivering dd! With ds I was told that I had to be induced, but I told them I had to go home first, to pick up my maternity bag. I made sure I made a stop at the nail bar on the way back to the hospital to have my nails doneIt made me really stubborn, and it has never been a problem. I would use my knuckle to put nappy cream on and will do with the new baby! Nothing wrong with being girly!
Toots - I am really glad all went well today. dh looked over my shoulder when I was reading your post with all the smilies and he said "someone's happy!" "Too right" I said!:D I really hope you don't have to suffer any horrible side effects. Keep smiling!
Meeting went well with Landlord and his wife. We sat and chatted for a couple of hours this evening. Hope to be feeling a bit brighter tomorrow. Will try and finish today's list in the morning. Nite nite everyone xxx :hello::smileyheaFlybaby Due 1st December 2009!:smileyhea0
