    Hello lovely people. :hello:

    Toots!!!! I'm delighted you've finished your 'treat'ments. YAY!!! :j :j :j :j :j WTG chickie!

PenPen I've sent you a pm re the BG bashing. I think that some of those posters were horrible. But you, once again, have handled yourself with grace and tact. I'm sorry you BGs get grief like that. It's unnecessary, unfair and unkind. (((hugs))) and hope you're feeling ok now. :)

Pigpen how lovely re: Jacob. You had me all sniffly when I read that. ;)

sorry barely skimmed thread today, hope everyone doing ok

Done loads of exercise today, went to the gym this morning, walked to school and back this afternoon, and then went for a 5k run tonight!! 5k after a week, I am so chuffed :j

Crossed lots of my list, and done few other bits too.
Got DS birthday invitations done ready to hand out tomorrow. He helped write on who its to and who its from, bless him he worked really hard.

Just going to order party bag bits (Star Wars colouring sets :D) then sort some laundry, lift the kids and collapse in bed, I am sooo tired, my legs are like jelly from the running!! Got a day of rest planned tomorrow though.

    Night night all

  • Oh yes.... re : the painting in the LR... tooch  it's a pale yellow colour. The ceiling was painted that colour before, and we had a light coffee colour on the walls, with rich dark terracotta colour in the chimney breast recesses. I loved the ceiling and the reddy colour, but hated the dark beige, so I figured if I painted the walls the same yellow as the ceiling, it'd be good. Does that make any sense ??? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, the other thing that's changed is that we've had coving put up. We painted that white. So now it's :

    Ceiling : yellow
    Coving : white
    Recesses : dark red/terracotta
    Walls : yellow

I think the problem is the coving - next to the walls - next to the recesses - white/yellow/red too much IYSWIM.

We've been living with it, but I've come down with a horrible cold... no swine flu jokes please  ;) So it's can stay as it is till I'm better.

Still not done much in the way of the actual lists but these phone jobs are taking longer than I thought  Oh well, DD has hit the migraine stage so I think its safe to say she's going to be under my feet for the next few days (It takes a day or two to clear and then is just a dull ache) and how she is doing on Friday will dictate whether she goes away at all, goes on Saturday instead, or goes Friday afternoon. I think she'll be okay by Friday except for the cough/cold, or at least well enough to get some fresh country/sea air in her ;)

    Morning all,

PenPen - i missed the board guide bashing last night, hope they were not too offensive, would just like to say i think you guys do a great job.

Lovely ladies may i have some positive thoughts for my mum? She finds out today whether she still has a job or not, going to go over and try and keep her mind off it as she is very stressed!

Will fly when i get home, my living room really needs a clean! It seems to get very dirty very quickly. Just going to get dressed and do the pots that are soaking from last night.
