Big hugs Jo, it's ok to cry and be sad. It's a bit like grieving when a relationship ends. Well done you for trying to be so positive. You will get through this, and you will feel happier soon I'm sure

Hope your exam goes well tomorrow Carol. It sounds like you are well prepared

Oh, it's only a little lizard! A relative died and I was the only one who would take it.. (there was talk of letting it go in the garden!)

I needed a boot up the bum, I was getting lazy again! I did clean the bathroom top to bottom on Saturday though, so should only need a bit of a swish and a swipe when bathroom day comes up again! :D
  • Phew I can't keep up with all the posts its just too much to read so forgive me if I seem a little impersonal.

However I did find the responses to my question about how to run clean cycles on the washing machine and dishwasher so will do that later in the week. No chance today as I had to do four loads of washing.

I have managed to get a few bits done today. I am limited slightly by the fact that I broke a bone in my foot at the beginning of the month and i am supposed to stay off it

Thanks for all the hugs and good wishes. I think dusty and others are right it was just the straw that broke the camel's back etc. I'm feeling a lot brighter now, got stuck into the kitchen - can't fail to smile with a sparkly kitchen!!

welcome brighterfuture (great name) and other newbies.

toots - i've not heard if i've even got an interview yet - should hear within the next weeks.

Can I ask if anyone has tried remanufactured ink cartridges? I tried a WHsmith one once and it didn't work at all. I need a HP56 and they're rather pricey (my old work used to pay as printer was primarily used for work stuff)

Monday - Kitchen and dining room - DONE!! :D:D:D

    Rach's extras for the week:
    Phone Gran
    Blood Tests

    Rearrange scan appointment
Get eyebrows done/learn how to do them myself!
    Phone Caroline
    Order printer cartridge
Plan session for GB camp on Sat
    Car insurance
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j

  • Princess, sorry I made light of your IL issue. Hadn't realised was three weeks there would be murder if that was me!

Murder is an option, though I will probably get manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility.

  • Oh no! Tuesdays list is the one I've not done any of yet... I can't do a lot of it until the crib is rehomed, but should manage to finish level one. If the weather cheers up I might even be able to wash the sheets as well as taking them off the bed. I've run out of things to hang wet washing off!

Rach - I am sure the job is yours! I use tesco equivalents of hp - not sure if they are remanufactured or not for my HP and they are great.
soappie how are you lovely - must be a bit strange working towards finishing - are you busy tying up loose ends??
