Thriftykatie i'm not usually like that. I usually leave everything till thurs which is supposed to be a study day then play catch up for the rest of the week:rolleyes:. I'm trying to do a bit more each day so i can relax on the weekend.

    Hi all,

I've wiped surfaces and washed cupboard doors and made a load of baby food for the freezer. Left a list for hubby to do today, thought i'd make the most of his enforced house husband role. I don't think he's quite got the idea though as the washing was still in the machine festering away when I got home!!

    Toots! I'm still here!

I just haven't had anything interesting to say and have been lurking sheepishly in the wings as I only managed one star last week.

Gosh you are a hard task master Toots.. ok ok 2 stars this week minimum. I don't want to get struck of again! :D

Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    [strike]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/strike] done
Scrub down the front of units and large appliances
    Level Two
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Clean oven and hob
    HHI
    Level Three
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Degunge the fridge!

Also I cleaned out my lizard, Coleen, on Thursday and gave her some nice fresh sand! :D She was previously called Colin, but he turned out to be a she and needed a rapid name change that was easy to remember, as she has been Colin for so long it was hard to get my head round it! :D
  • Hi all,

was wondering if there is room for one slightly in denial far from domestic godess :o. I havent managed to read all the thread yet but will try my hardest to keep up with that and the cleaning :D

I have so far today given the kitchen and dinning room a once over and have cooked the chilli for tomorrows dinner (Why does it always taste so much nicer the day after???)

I'mthinking it may be wiser for me to do the previous weeks daily lists as as soon as I get on the puter the time just seems to run away with itself.
I've got my faults, but living in the past isn't one of them. There's no future in it.

Hiya! and 00020121.gifto all the Newbies.....

    bighug.gifto everyone

Thanks for all your messages; I am not really feeling very positive - I have just decided that I am going to be positive...no matter what. I got a phone call just after 9 this morning, so there was floods of tears....which looked something like this............... 00020344.gif But thankfully mostly after I came off the phone! I was trying to hold it together when i was on the phone, failed miserably and then went into total meltdown after the call was finished.
So Promptly decided to focus on the new phone!!!! :D Ive come to the conclusion that people who live in their own selfish little bubble are clearly much happier than the rest of us!! :rotfl: My phone is FAB and has a great camera....which ive had lots on fun playing with.....I also now have no excuse for not taking Ebay photos! I can take them on the phone and then bluetooth them to the laptop! Will save myself from loads of faffing around! (why is it we look at made up words and wonder if we spelled them correctly??)

Anyway, went swimming today and feel tired but also better for it/refreshed........if you can be tired and refreshed at the same time!! :rotfl:

think im going to repack my bag and go again tomorrow.....Am joining on Friday but think its worth paying the extra if it will kickstart the habit

Okay I found the DVD case at 6.40 so I dived straight in the car as the library closed at 7 and it had got to be back today. Called in Asda afterwards and got some cheap bread - ready for bed now!
