    I have 'deferred' any more work for the day, wine glass in hand and watching telly / brousing the internet.

    Well if you defrost it, it will turn back into fool again... and I think you know why DD made chocolate buns :p Still... you can always put the two together to make trifle :D

    I defrosted mine (rhubarb fool that is :) )in the microwave last night.. took a while... but mmmmmmmm yum!

    Sarah - I used that recipe you put the link up to - the syrup is gorgeous. I will 'fridge' it - if I get crystals I will warm it through.

    Valli I must confess, it isn't a recipe I've used, but after reading it through I thought it really fit the bill. Plus, Nigella's descriptions of the right kind of rhubarb make me smile. :) I'll use it next time though, I love the idea of using the syrup to add to fizz... yummmmy! :drool:

    Final update for this week - vacuum has been round the house, bed remade and I actually did some ironing!!

    So Toots :A - stars for Mon, Tues and Weds please :D:D:D

    Monday - Kitchen DONE :D:D:D

    Terrible Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing DONE :D:D:D

    Wednesday Wonders ~ Cruddy Study & Bathrooms DONE :D:D:D

    Thursdays are Thrilling!! - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!

    Level Two
    Wash the windows and the front door.. inside and out!

    Level Three
    Wipe all the paintwork!

    Friday is Funky! - childrens rooms! ~ spare rooms or just attack a neglected room!!

    Level Two
    dust and deweb the whole room
    wipe away sticky marks

    Level Three
    wash windows

    My one-a-day (or 7-a-weekend!!) list
    - Parking permit
    - [STRIKE]Collect Avon from mum[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Pay money into mortgage[/STRIKE]
    - Filing into folders and upstairs
    - Sort a box in spare room
    - [STRIKE]Books to J[/STRIKE]
