Well if you defrost it, it will turn back into fool again... and I think you know why DD made chocolate buns Still... you can always put the two together to make trifle

I defrosted mine (rhubarb fool that is )in the microwave last night.. took a while... but mmmmmmmm yum!

Sarah - I used that recipe you put the link up to - the syrup is gorgeous. I will 'fridge' it - if I get crystals I will warm it through.

Valli I must confess, it isn't a recipe I've used, but after reading it through I thought it really fit the bill. Plus, Nigella's descriptions of the right kind of rhubarb make me smile. I'll use it next time though, I love the idea of using the syrup to add to fizz... yummmmy! :drool:

Final update for this week - vacuum has been round the house, bed remade and I actually did some ironing!!
