Do you remember where you got it and how much it was?
It was from Argos, and was £6.99 I think..less than a tenner anyway
here it is!

Oh thanks. We'll be picking that up this week for sure!
Little aside:
I wanted to see the weather report this morning and he pointed and said, 'That's Britain. That's where Daddy and Mummy and Littleribbon live.' I said it was. Then I asked, 'Do you know where Granny and Grampa live?' It's an hour away so obviously very far.He thought for a minute then said, 'North America.'

My dd1 always gets America and Africa muddled up - makes for some interesting homework though! A while ago we spent ages writing about the African plains and the animals that you would find there, when really we should have been writing about the North American plains and the cereals that are grown there!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

There was hardly anything in the early learning centre for his age with these themes. But he fell in love with the wooden ambulance, fire engine and police van set so he's been playing with that since we got home. He did say this though that made me laugh and I thought I'd share:
'We live on Neptune, Mummy!'
'What do you think it's like on Neptune?'
'It's a big fluff ball.'
'Is it? What's a big fluff ball?'
'It's just like Bits and Bobs'. (Cbeebies!)
I'm glad he's got such a vivid imagination! I'm going to get him to paint it later this week to remind him later of when he thought Neptune was fluffy.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
The following site might provide some more ideas for you.

Sorry to 'bump' my own thread so shamelessly, but I thought some of you might be interested in my find today.
In Wilkinsons for 69p they have some lovely shiny stickers with the planets on them. I found them when I was looking for some stickers for the potty training chart I'm making.
We're going to make a little planet map with them too. I bought a few packets. He normally can't be bothered holding things but he clutched one of the packets all the way home. He even stopped a little girl in the shop to tell her all about them.(LOOK! It's JUPITER! It's ROUND!) :rotfl:
