i take it you have tried the usual suspects?

Yes, I think so. Just cant believe the curent prices - Charters are £300 more than Scheduled for the same trip and you have to pay for extras on Chartered and you get a lower baggage allowance!!

My Virgin deal of £2100 for 2ad and 3ch for 14 nights next july jumped to 3800 for the same deal a week later. Can't work out if I got an misprice or just a good price. don't care at the end of the day.:T

Sorry my post didn't say what it was meant to. I paid £2100 a week ago. Yesterday the price jumped to £3800 for exactly the same holiday. The price was always £4000 for the same holiday leaving 2 days later.

from what i have worked out it seems that a lot of companies have cut their capacity for the autum/winter period.

from nov 1st only thomson are flying and only once a week on a sunday so first choice are using their flights. thomas cook are not going there at all. i was mazed at some of the prices. maybe they racked them up as people have transferred there from mexico for sept holidays

  • Hello,
Would just like to say a huge thankyou to lavendergirl for this post:T.

I've just returned from a week in Orlando after seeing this post, booked on 28th Apr and flew out on 2nd May returning this morning. Return flights for 2 adults & 2 children from Gatwick came to just £675 including luggage charges, weather was fantastic all week with small queues for the rides at all the parks we went to too.

I thought this site was supposed to be about saving money:p

    Thanks again
    Joe
