they are back now as part of Virgin but as you would expect more expensive
Saving that I was looking for a holiday next next. Virgin had a holiday for two weeks from Manchester at 2798 for 5 of us which I thought was good value and nearly booked. However a quick search brought up travelcitydirect which I know are also part of Virgin. The exact same holiday with them booked with Virgin was £2150. Saving us over £600 for the exact same holiday. Makes no sense at all. The same holiday only two days later is over £4000.0 -

Which proves that flight/holiday packages are based on purely what airlines and tour operators think they can get away with.0 -
Hi y`all. Just returned from US of A, and laboriously applied for ESTA`s well before departure- only to be told it isnt necessary as is not yet mandatory- probably because so few have done it. We still had to complete the "green" immigration cards and they did not want to see our printed ESTAs. On plus side our ESTAs run to 2011 so once is working, no future registration required, as it covers all trips to expiry date.
The American Embassy in London did make it clear when ESTA was introduced that they would not be using them in the early stages. Once there are sufficient in the system then they will be used and the green forms withdrawn. I have just returned from 5 weeks in the USA and the airports are gearing up for it to be introduced later this year.
Although the ESTA lasts for 2 years remember the information you have entered may not be correct for future trips. You can go on line and amend details of your travel arrangements but not your personal info.

I would always use Sanford rather than Orlando Intl.
It may be 45 mins further away but it is MUCH quieter and far less stressful.
Also a lot quicker from landing to arriving at your hotel / villa even with the 45 min drive, which is easy too0 -

Couldn't agree more! That gentle drive out of the airport along that empty road, giving you time to get use to the car and driving on the right is welcome too. The only problem is that if you take the I4, it gets you to the Downtown Orlando part around 5/6, so it can get busy, just like everywhere really, but still totally recommended.
It's much more of a welcoming airport and has all of the facilities you expect - to coin a phrase from an old TV advert - The Hub Without The Hubbub.
Still looking for a cheap flight in Sept tho!!!!
Tip: Take Rain-X for your car windscreen too, it makes the [set your watch by the afternoon] Florida downpours soo much more tolerable when driving.0 -

WOW, that's good. Ive just checked Continental.com and I think they have the opposite deal to what you have; Virgin are only 70% of the Cost of Continental!!!0 -
