There are still good flight prices out there if you search hard enough...I'm going to the USA from June-September, and travel agents were quoting me £300+...have managed to find a flight for just over £250, with BA so am happy :)

Can someone help me with cheap accomodation??

Last time we stayed in I-Drive and it was perfect to get everywhere, does anyone know of cheap last minute accom we could book, if we get chance to book these flights?

I also love Orlando and we paid £400 including accom for 2 weeks last time, if its going to cost more that with transfers and accom then personally its not cheap ! !
    Many thanks

I often use the motel-6 chain (www.motel6.com) when in the states - in the past we have stayed at the kissimmee (main gate west) motel, which is very convenient for access to Disney World. At this time of year I would expect a room for two people to be $30-35.

Just returned from Florida/ Decided to prebook accomadation in uk prior to dep / over easter stayed in Baymont Inn / Universal v good for price £21.00 p/n typically you would pay $45-50 per night in the states with the current exchange $1.50 to the pound we gained by booking in the uk try travelsupermarket.com always then get reviews from tripadvisor.com and once sorted check for cashback from quidco or other cashback sites. We ended up at the Baymont through expedia and got 7% cashback average room rate £21.00 -7% i would definetly reccomend pre booking if you plan to stay for a few nights in one location. Hope This Helps

I am in Florida for a month at the moment. I used a scheduled airline, US Airways, and it cost me 204GBP.

Now that is an excellent price!! But I was very impressed with Tomo flights!!

Try Holiday Inn on Highway 192 at Kissimmee, or Hampton Inn Orlando South, just off I Drive at Kirkman, near to Universal Studios (I think that's the name of the road)

Do Thomson charge to check luggage in?

The last time I flew long-haul with Thomson, the seats were unbelieveably narrow and uncomfortable - have they improved the situation?
