I Have 3
One Nectar Amex comes in handy for offers like 305 off at gap
One Egg Money Mastercard just for cashback & spending
One amazon card just to get £15 voucher then I will cancel!!
All of which have nothing outstanding on them!!0 -

If you get upset about it they have won and you will loose any 0% offer.
If nothing is offered you can tell them you are closing the account anyway and perhaps apply for another card later.
yeah i was very courteous on the phone. I think it kind of puts off the operator down the other end cos they were expecting me to rant and rave....If i have helped, use the thanks button!0 -
I have 3, but I want more.
Mint and Lloyds TSB, both with a balance close to the credit limit, and Egg Money to transfer the balance from and then transfer the money to current account.
Just applied for Post office cc, but was declined.Money in longest works hardest0 -

I have three. Is there any point in applying for a fourth, just because it's with a company/organisation that I like, even though I intend to just not use it ever (well, maybe once or twice)? It's a Visa through MBNA and has a 0% offer or something, which is also useless to me.0

Only one and I pay it off every month.0

I have 4
MBNA : £3000 limit, £2000 current balance (but will raise as I need to buy more flights). Paid off in full each month.
Morgan Stanley : £2000 limit, £600 current balance. Paid off in full each month.
Halifax : £1700 limit, £1500 balance. 0% deal until July, when I will transfer it.
NatWest : £3500 limit, £2800 balance. 0% till July, when I will transfer it.0 -
