Can I limit my daughter's monthly bill

My daughter wants a contract phone. Are there any deals that sets a limit of say £40 a month. then she has to prepay all calls after that.
Many thanks

I believe some networks used to allow you to put a cap on the bill that could be accumulated per month, but it didn't work for reasons best known to themselves and they scrapped it. Best going in to a phone shop and asking, but DON'T let them talk you into some ridiculously overpriced contract. :D Sorry not very helpful I know. And why on Earth does your daughter need a £40/month contract?! Have you any idea how many thousands of minutes and texts you can get for less than that?
  • I think for a limit, PAYG is the only option.

even £40 of payg credit would get you a pile of minutes and texts.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
  • I thought on Flext with T-Mobile you had to top up once you'd used up your allowance? Not entirely sure though x

    My thoughts to.:D
  • Someone else mentioned a T-mobile tariff that allowed that earlier on today in another thread but then mentioned that they couldn't see it on their website. So I don't know.... lol

No, that's their U-Fix tariff in which you top up once your allowance runs out.

On Flext you just pay for calls and texts on your monthly bill once your allowance runs out
  • Ah, I have a vague memory of when Flext first came out of being in a pub toilet with my friend trying to top up her phone cuz her allowance had run out, they must have changed it :)
