Oh dear, it seems quite a lovely day up here! Are you from Hartlepool Poolie?
Dinah I just googled foxgloves and they are indeed poisonous so that might be why you're not allowed to pick them! On the subject of bouquets, here's an interesting fact - the tradition of the bride carrying flowers started as a way of disguising her BO!!
As for the gallery Lara, I think you should go for it, sounds original. And the films sound brill - it's nice to do little things that reflect your personalities and make things a bit different. A couple of years ago my cousin and her husband must have spent ages designing cartoon versions of all the guests to project at the reception, and a slideshow of photos from their relationship, was lovely.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hi Tete
Originally from Hartlepool. Moved to Stirling for Uni, then to Glasgow for postgrad course and work. Finally moved back to sunny England (Berkshire) in January for better job.0 -
Hmm yeah, maybe a poisionous bouquet would send off the wrong signals....
Another late night last night with doing the MS reports, NIM has another 2 jobs today, which means 4 reports to do this evening, only one of which is a 'quick' one. And we're at the theatre this evening. I suggested just cancelling the jobs but he wouldn't hear of it. Just kept pointing at the house deposit chart showing basically no progress! He's also been asked to work Saturday at the farm. I thought it might be a lot too much but he says he's more than likely not working thursday or friday evening this week as the survey they're doing at the call centre has finished.
He got his offer of employment last night, 12 days holiday left between now and Jan 1st.... 6 of those are already 'assigned', 4 in Dec so he can go home, 1 for Edinburgh, 1 for Birmingham, I'd say he'll need at least 3 to go to Ireland in other times in the year, looks like my New York plans might be scuppered.
Didn't get the photobook done, but then I'm not certain I actually have enough 'good' paintings to put in it yet! I'm sure there will be another offer along sooner or later.
I did call Tesco though, and requested the ClubcardPlus application form - kicking myself I didn't know about it earlier!
The more eagle eyed may have noticed we are 0.1% closer to the house deposit. Recieved a £40 payment last night from trading in NIMs Irish phone. Can't wait till we get an upgrade on mine, should get at least £140 for it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oooh, another 0.1% closer Dinah, well done! 4.8 looks much nicer!
Don't worry about not getting the photobook done, there are always good offers around for when you do have enough paintings to put in it!
We got a rebate yesterday from our solicitors for £213, something to do with 'unused leasehold expenses', whatever that means! OH has decided that he 'must' use £70 of that to buy all of the Star Trek movies on Blu Ray (I swear, he's getting geekier by the day!) but I'm 'allowed' the remainder to spend on myself! The sensible side of my brain says to stick it on my credit card but the silly side thinks 'Oooh, pretty things for Birdie!'. Hmmm...what to do?!?!
What is this Clubcard Plus Dinah? I'm intrigued!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
You know exactly what to do missy! I'd have been putting the whole thing on the CC and telling him to download the movies. I'm still on a mission to get people on this thread to face their debts and make a sig, then set about smashing them.
Clubcard plus, there is a lot of info on the boost your clubcard points thread, but basically its a preloaded card, like a mobile phone top up i guess, where you put money onto it, then buy your groceries/petrol with it, and you get 2 points per £1 rather than the usual 1 point per £1. We spend around £300 a month in Tesco mostly on petrol, so this would make a big difference to us for no cost, just the slight hassle of having to hand the cash to customer services before doing the shopping, or topping it up online the night before off the bank account.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I do keep meaning to do a signature, but I can't do it at work and I forget to do it when I go home! I'm useless, I admit it!
I really wish we had a big Tesco with a garage here, I'd be raking in the points! Our nearest one is Thirsk which is such a pain! I might start doing online food shopping so I can get points coming in somehow, and I can't get distracted by naughty foods if I'm not in a supermarket!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. If you shop online there are loads of bonus points codes, again, there is a thread for them, but usually you can get an extra 500 or 750 bonus points on an online order, and free delivery.
Right missy, you're my project for the week then, I'm going to nag you until you get a sig!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Awwww.... why me???? I'll try to do it tonight...
I think my Tesco online plan has been foiled, they don't recognise my post code so won't deliver to me! Darn it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Lol cos it's a new house? I had the same problem in my new built flat in Newcastle. I called them up and they managed to somehow get the postcode added on about a week later.
Sorry you're getting picked on because you're more verbal, you're very active, you're likely to make decent dents into the total and are enthusiastic enough to prompt other people into putting it into the sig, without being all scary like me! Plus I've met you, and I know (ish) where you live, so if you don't I'll come and bang my Birdie drum around all the new housing developments in North Yorkshire!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
