I'd like to point out NIM signed that pledge, and has only mentioned getting married oh, 5 times a day, since then!
I stick to my ground, I like the idea of him asking, I like the idea of being married, it's the between him asking and the being married part I'm dreading!
I've just been sent some house plans, interestingly enough they've been sent in digital audio tape format.... who would send drawings of a house in audio format?!?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

:rotfl: well at least you're honest with yourself!
Very quiet here too, I'm doing that thing where you try not to do all your work so that there's something left for tomorrow, but whenever I do that I get swamped with unexpected stuff and have loads of overdue stuff that I should have done on days like this :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Speaking of Christmas my OH already has the plans in motion.
OH is going to China to see her parents. I am due to work a few days in the middle so going to build up lots of flexi during the holidays while she is away. It will mean we can get away a bit easier next year.
My parents have already said they do not mind as they will be going to my sisters like they do each year.
Wedding planning - Small tip for you all. When we got married July last year we used a problem called iDo (google elmsoftware). It allowed budgeting, invites, rsvps, contacts, gifts and vendors. Along with the a countdown time line (Dinah do not look at this!). It allowed OH and I to plan everything to the letter.
On the big day, OH had me draft up a plan about 2 days before. Saying what was happening when ie hairdressers, cars due, time due at registry office, time through the park for photos and what time we were due at the hotel for the reception. After that it was all in the hands of the hotel as we had a really excellent events manager who knew what was happening when and who was who and who was important. PS - We got our wedding cake from M&S only a shame I only saw 1 piece all day.0 -
I think I could rename that software 'google panicattak'. I'm good at the moment as it's a vague 'he likes me enough to want to be with me for ever and he tells me that every day', the next stage where a time line would actually be useful.... I'm feeling all faint again.......Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

See its not the getting married part that scares me...its the cost! and all for just 1 day. Thats a scary thought.
If it helps, I keep getting stuck up doctors etc ringing me moaning that their photocopier hasnt arrived yet or something!
But house plans on an audio tape=very odd!Trying my hardest to change...Mummy to a beautiful princess born 06/11/110 -
