Clematis is quite virulent I think Poddle! Ooh I love love love the new Fiat 500s, the only Fiat on offer with the scrappage thing is the new Panda I think at the moment. I might yet decide on a newer old Micra though and if so I want a bright green one because they look like frogs!

Ooo, I remember that film! Might have to dig my copy out and watch it while I'm on the dreadmill. Try and build up Champion-esq calves!

Fiat 500s are so sweet Poddle! I love Nissian Figaros too, anything that looks cute I'm sold on! Well done on selling the other ebay bits too.

Right, best get to work. My worky day has gone right down the pan!

Poddle, I'll second Tete's clematis suggestion, the back garden at my old house was more or less overrun with clematis, but it looked pretty so it was all good!
And I love the new Fiat 500, it is so super cute! I'd feel so chicly cute driving around in one of them!
Tete, I'm really not that nice a nursemaid but I just look at it as practice for when I'm a Mum, I think I'll be a cracking Mum; right until the kiddies throw up and I'll scarper! Blood I can deal with but puke is too much!

It is the AYGO we have ordered. Just been to the dealership to get the finance details. Just making sure we have covered all the bases before we do anything.

Birdie - How many miles does your mum get to a tank of petrol?

Just thinking because work is a 22 mile round trip. I cover about 420 miles in a month back and forwards to work. It is costing about £100 per month in fuel to keep the old car for me getting to work. If that could go down by about half I would be very happy.

Grief £100 a month in fuel for 44 miles a day is excellent already! I have a 48 mile round trip each day for work and it costs me £190 a month in fuel! My car does 39.8mpg to the gallon as I drive so I thought I was doing pretty well!

Dinah - It is not 44 miles round trip but 22 miles. 11 miles there and another 11 miles back.

Your £190 is working out at about £0.18 per mile (based on working 22 days each month)
While mine is £0.24 per mile (PS - I actually only working 19 days each month because it is shift work). Not so great value for money having the old Bravo.

I think that is pretty good! Especially as you drive a pretty nippy car, if I remember rightly... Oh, just noticed Poolie does 22 miles per day, not each way, so that makes more sense!

How be everyone so far today?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Haven't a clue I'm afraid! But I know that a tank of petrol will get her about 20 x 16mile round trips to work, a couple of trips to see me (about 30+ mile round trip) and a couple of trips out between 50-100 miles, so pretty impressive! I'll have to ask her for a more specific figure, although she's pretty useless, she doesn't even know how much petrol costs.
