I'm scared of our new printerfaxercopierscanner machine. Sounds like an Air Raid siren when it goes off!

Blimey Happy! Well done at the gym, I'm going to try to walk/run/crawl 7 miles on the dreadmill, sorry Treadmill, this afternoon. Why do I set myself these targets?!

My worky day is slipping away from me, run out of work! I think I just saw the Postie go past the hair dressers though so hopefully he'll have lots of post for me.

Sounds like a baby!! Hope he's feeling better today and the Barbie plasters have helped! Thanks for the car info, will look at those models. I learnt in an Aygo and it was nice, I just don't like the look of them or the C1 particularly. I like my Micra because it's sort of retro and looks like a cartoon car :o I'm such a girl!

Happy, health kick here too sort of - gym at lunch time (health kick and avoid-the-shops kick!)

ETA - Oh I'm so calling it the 'Dreadmill' from now on Cinny!!! Hahaha!

I work in a distribution centre, usually in the offices on nice day shift but I cover the other shifts in another office (24 hour cover) when needed, which thankfully isn't too often!

He is a big baby! I have to put his socks on and everything... I must really love that boy! His leg was numb (I think it was in shock) but the feeling is coming back and it is more painful now, he says it's really starting to ache, and he has to keep stretching it which makes it ache more... so I do feel quite bad for him which is why I baby him!
Happy, sounds like you have a very worthwhile job! I'd like to think that I did something that made a difference but my caring pretty much stops at looking after OH, I'd be no good looking after other people!

I'll take it to the grave! :D Have a nice sleep Happy (PS You do a fantastic job!)

I can't take credit for the Dreadmill Tete, that was my sisters doing! I'm squirreling away for an exercise bike though (be lazy and use it while I watch telly) Come Tour de France time I'll be peddling away trying to join in!

Been given a small mountain of work, I best stop faffing about. Back to the grind!

I missed what Happy does! Was it there for a nanosecond or something? Or am I being dim? Oh well.

Your poor OH Birdie, you sound like a lovely nursemaid!

I like the sound of riding along with the Tour de Francers Cinny, have you ever seen The Belleville Rendez-vous? It's an animated film where this lady looks after a cyclist and after he finishes the race she pummels his calves with a hand whisk.

Morning all! I'm struggling with the fact that it's Tuesday today, but have enjoyed long weekend being a total cliche and doing lots of DIY! We've been putting a trellis up on top of the garden wall (which is only about 1m high) so we don't have to see our vile chav neighbours. Now all I need is something virulent to grow on it!

Glad the meet went well and Dinah & NIM weren't as scary as they thought! The pics are great, you all look lovely but not really how I pictured you at all :rotfl:I think I've only seen Tete's pic on Dooyoo, so I didn't recognise you without a cat obscuring the photo!

I've sold a couple more things on ebay so I will update my sig with my car permit challenge soon! It's very exciting looking at new cars - I'm quite taken with the new Fiat 500s, but I love the old micras too. One of my friends has got a bright yellow one which never fails to bring a smile to my face when she drives up the road!
