Ooh that'll be nice, not sure of the weather though! That was how I knew I was getting to be a pro-walker, when Roseberry Topping didn't present too much a challenge! NIM sounds like a lad I work with, if I say I've been for a walk he just goes "You walked for eight miles???"

LOL! What's ready maddening is that OH and I planned to start walking a mere matter of weeks before he screwed up his knee! One day we'll be able to go on mad walks!

Ohh I love the dresses, they are both gorgeous. £150 would be a bargain as well.

OH got her wedding dress from China. I think it was around the £150-200 mark.

I measured her and we did it twice to check the measurements.

She did have to take it to have it altered a little bit because she wanted a button to take the train up for dancing and a couple of other bits. The alterations cost about £80 so not bad in the end.

Ooooh the Landy one is just as nice. It's so pretty. Cinny the Sage course sounds great!

Tonight I met up with an old friend and had a nice drink. He has a company with another friend that's doing very well. I didn't realise how well until I walked into their swanky new offices and saw the number of new desks. They met through me, so shouldn't I be a shareholder or something?! Introduction fee? Royalties? LOL

This friend *really* needs MSEing, being that he thinks he is skint all the time, when he gets paid 3 x my monthly wage. Needless to say I tell him where to go if he is ever whinging. But I think he should pay me to MSE his life....

Not for me!!! My best friend just moved to Harrogate and is looking for a nice boy in the area, but you don't tend to find nice boys in pubs, so I'm looking for nice boys for her. Lots of nice. Nice.

Hmmm... thinking.... most of the boys have girlfriends but I do have a lovely friend (OH's best friend) who is single but he's moving to Aberdeen so he's only here part time unfortunately! He'd be perfect though, a really lovely, intelligent, gentlemanly pilot albeit a little shy!

    I'll keep thinking though!

  • Hi People, I had a good time in Dublin but spent more than I had budgeted for. I paid £8.90 for a vodak and coke, OMG.
Yeah! I want to make a patchwork quilt too!! Or a knitted patchwork one but I can't knit either. I really wanted to go to one of those knitting groups like they had on Kirstie's homemade home!
I knitted a patchwork quilt for baby Amber, I knitted seven inch squares using odd bits of cream shades and knitted different patterns on each square. Some were garter stitch (all row knitted) others knit a row purl a row or different versions of the above. We all did at least a square each so that it can be a bit heir loom. I will send you a link that shows you how to get started.
