I'll be wearing tights and big knickers! And I may yet end up with something more modest! Have you seen my photos on facebook from Halloween a couple of years ago? My costume was so short and my Mum had made me a net skirt to wear underneath it which made it stick out more and look shorter! If I can wear that I can wear anything!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Haha! I like the squaw but if you're going for sexy maybe the cowgirl? I'm not keen on the saloon lady!
Hmm, shopping blackouts I know them well. Just popped into DPs to see if they had any work trousers in the sale, came out with a winter coat, a pair of jeans and a Body Shop goody bag (from opening a DP card!! - eep!). Well, there were no trousers and then I spotted this lovely coat, brown wool, I'll see if I can find a pic of it, and it fitted, lovely £20. But BOGOF, so quickly found myself a £7 pair of jeans, little bit long so can only wear with heels, but still, for free.... Then I got to the counter and she said I'd get a BS goody bag, 10% off and a £5 voucher through the post if I got a card, so I didOf course I know the MSE rules, will pay it off as soon as it comes through! I do love my coat though!
(Long drivelly post there, justifying my very non-MSE lunch!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Grrr. The estate agents are being, well, estate agents. They can't give us a viewing this weekend, there is a suggetion that the property is already under offer (but not advertised as such!), and they wouldn't answer any of NIMs questions! Suddenly I see why it hasn't sold!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think that sounds like a bargain Tete! A coat and Jeans for £18, you should be proud of yourself!
I like the idea of dressing up as a saloon girl but all of the costumes are fairly hideous, proper cheap looking and you know that they'll fit really badly and make you look lumpy and horrid! I wonder if I could rustle something up myself?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Welcome to the world of property buying and all the headaches that the estate agents cause! I had a bit of a blackout in Boots today myself, went in for a meal deal and came out with a S&G face mask, face wipes, facial mitt and 3 Barry M nail paints.. plus the meal deal!
Birdie - I like the Squaw outfit out of those. Couldn't you convince your OH for you both to go as a panto horse or something? Cowboys need horses! Just been looking on joke.co.uk and found this http://www.joke.co.uk/fancy_dress/adult_bun_maker_bun_in_the_oven_combination~50193.html - hehe!
Dinah - I've read your other thread and it just sounds like a good bargain to me. Would be fab if you could get 50k profit for all the flats, you'd be able to quit your job and do something you can properly put your energy into if you can make profits like that!0 -
Well NIM called back about the house, spoke to a girl who didn't sound like she was on work experience, and got some proper answers. It is under offer but she sounded very, very uncertain that the other offer is genuine and said even if we view in a week if we were interested we'd have no issue making an offer and completing if we wanted to. Odd thing to say. So they're going to call us back tomorrow to see if they can give us a viewing one evening this week.
NIM is at a leaving do tonight, so I've had a bath, face mask, face scrub, hair treatment, and a nice smelling soft curls thing I got in Boots reduced when I went to get my hair grips - lets just see if it controls the frizz!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I like the squark (sp?) outfit best birdie, but I know that the outfits are generally really expensive and rubbish quality - do try and make your own maybe? I love homemade outfits!
I have now officially joined food focus! And I am going to try it today but I think I'll have to be really careful as I'm planning on a pizza or something aweful for tonight! I've said I want to lose 6lb, not a whole stone (I don't think I'll look good at 7st 6!) and so I get 1338 cals a day.
Think i want to go swimming now before my friend from uni comes to see me later!
Thanks for reccomending it guys, i'll just have to see if I can keep it up! I've just had breakky and I'm on 260 allready!0 -
Wow sounds really exciting Dinah! Good that you got some straight answers from the lady.
Hey Tete, I think your DP haul is very MSE! Must look into that DP card, sounds good. Have had the urge to splurge since my Matalan and ASDA spree last weekend. I seem to only be able to do loads or no spending.
My proposal cam back with lots of corrections and I am a bit stumped as to how to go forward from here. So looks like a weekend of work anyway :-)
Birdie - I love the squaw! It sounds like a super fun party.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
