Brilliant new thinking at work, we won't refer to anyone by a description, second person or time. So it's now 'we' when refering to anyone working for the council. The word council has in fact been banned (this is going to be fun!). I can see it now; 'we have a serious objection to the highways provision however we fully support the reuse of this important listed building. We therefore have confused the reader with the direction of this letter. The reader must respond in a reasonably urgent manner in order that the matter may be determined at some point in the future.
No wonder people hate the public sector if our directors have time to sit making this gibberish up.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

well, i got reduced hours at work today for the 2nd time this week which was so so so annoying, and I hope it doesnt happen again but it basically makes the extra day im doing not extra anymore
I'm a bit upset but I did have a good day today, made lots of new friends and actually got the chance to have a laugh today! And I think I might have sorted my tax codes out, only paid £240ish of tax so far this year lol! thats's not gonna be fun to reclaim!
I did get £4 from PC survey though yey!0 -
Oh that's rubbish Tink, I've had jobs like that before, where it's a 12 hour contract but you're 'guaranteed at least 30 hours a week because it's so busy', and two weeks later you can't pay the rent because you're working for like £50 per week
Main source of my debt that was! At least you're enjoying it though!
Well I've been trying to book train tickets to London, I had a reminder in my calendar to do it (very organised and MSE) 12 weeks in advance, but they're all coming up at £99 ONE WAY, colleague says it's 6 weeks in adv for the cheap tix ... so where did I get 12 from? Any ideas?
How is everyone today? Dinah have you and NIM started your race yet or is that tonight?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
It's tonight, last night we had a MS meal and report to do, and NIM had to go through the desktop and the external harddrives to see which ones worked, and to try to clear some space.
I think we're going to find £250 a month spends a lot harder than we thought. We're only at the 6th and already we've spent over half of it! I was hoping to be able to order a few photobooks, gradually actually print all my pictures. If anyone sees any photobook offers (not the one in the newsletter!) please let me know.
However I used to work as a photographer, and I have some decent enough prints taken, so I'm planning to upload some of those onto Etsy as well, most prints seem to be between $12-$25 so if I stuck some up at $15 maybe it would be a bit of extra income. If not, nothing ventured nothing gained.
Am also considering trying to become a budget wedding photographer in my spare time. I know the ins and outs of a camera, and what these pictures usually go for, but I don't have the experience. Does anyone know if it would be breaking the site rules to offer say 5 couples on the wedding board free photography if they let me use the pictures taken to advertise my site/company etc?
6 weeks in advance? Thats good to know Tete, we need tickets for Edinburgh and Birmingham soon.
Hows everyones diet going? Mexican last night made yesterday a bit of a fail (yummy though), came out about even, nothing gained but nothing lost. Today should be a good day though. Yoghurt and apple for breakfast, rocket, apple, red pepper and chicken salad for lunch, with 2 petit filous and a tub of grapes, then I'm out walking on site all afternoon so a lot of gentle exercise, then vege bean bake with sweet potato chips and mixed veggies for dinner.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Tete
Generally it is 12 weeks when the train companies know what engineer work Network Rail want to do so they release the tickets. It then takes about 2 weeks while they work out what cheaper tickets they can offer. Best to try 10 weeks before you want to travel. 6 Weeks before and you will be back up to £60+ One Way0 -

Dinah,
The wedding forum board usually has people offering this although they do get nasty over there worried about "what happens if the photographer makes a mess then you loose your big day" agrument.
train tickets - as i said to Tete start looking abotu 10 weeks before.0
