I've seen something about photobooks somewhere but I think it was in the email! I don't even really know what they are - like a proper book of your pics? I have several photo albums that need filling - bought a few on special offer thinking I'd be able to put all my old 'developed film' pics in but they were the wrong size. I got some vouchers for free prints from Jessops tho when we got the camera repaired (hee hee, free repair even tho we dropped it and free pics! :money:) so want to get some printed from Paree.

Not sure about site rules re the wedding pics, maybe you could advertise via window cards in shops for some people locally. I'd be scared to do that I have to say in case it all went wrong - it's the most important day of their lives! (*edit* - yeah like what Poolie said!)

Oh and speaking of weddings, I had a really vivid dream last night that I found out that OH and his ex were actually married for four years ... keep having dreams like that, that he was engaged to her and stuff when he wasn't, says a lot about my insecurities I think  But then I wake up all annoyed at him and he hasn't done anything!

Diet- Haven't finished updated yesterday's meals but haven't gymmed-it since Monday so not well I don't think. Pub last night and I had spinach and ricotta canneloni (spinach good, ricotta bad?), and was coerced into gettting some breaded mushrooms 'only if we could share them and I didn't have to eat them all', as I popped the last one in my mouth OH said "I haven't had one of those you know" ooops, but they were LOVELY!

Poolie, thanks for the info about the trains, you are an asset to this thread!! Will keep checking the prices every day then, hopefully I can bag a return for less than £40!

(Sorry for long post, am feeling a bit giddy this morning)

Another train tip is to check on a Thursday as that is when the new tickets are released.

All, BBC News are saying that the scrappage scheme will run out end of october beginning of november because the cash will run out.

Dinah - I think you might just have to bite the bullet and buy the photobooks. You might find somewhere that's doing them really cheap but the quality might be shoddy, like they say 'You've got to spend money to make money'.. or something along those lines.

I know you live a fair bit more North but when I was looking for tickets for London I was looking about 3months in advance and was getting return tickets for £56 for 3 of us.

At home today, horrible night last night. My cat got hit by a car and didn't make it :( Feel completely drained. Worst part was I'd only just let her out after feeding her, keep on thinking if I'd just kept her in for that bit longer  Just want to curl up under my duvet. Silly cats!

Oh Cinny that's awful, you poor thing! I know you're a fan of dodgy hugs in an emergency so: :grouphug: Don't beat yourself up about letting her out, it may have only been another car coming along a few minutes later. Have a relaxing day and look after yourself xxx

Really sorry to hear about your cat Cinny, as everyone says though don't blame yourself sometimes these things happen.

I'd be offering to do it for free, therefore I doubt many people would have me as the only photographer, more the fact that when you pay a photographer usually you only get to chose 40 of the pictures they take to keep. So I would give them a CD of all the pictures to keep so they would have lots of extra ones.

    Morning All!

I'm really sorry about your cat Cinny, take a duvet day and get some R&R xxx

I'm back in Chorley after days in Worcester (and I just want to go home now!), it was supposed to take us 2 hours to drive back yesterday and we finally got in after 5 hours of being stuck in stupid traffic jams on the M6! Never again! Luckily the trip was worthwhile as I learnt quite a lot, although the worrying thing is that the woman training me here (who's on holiday now and I'm covering for her) has a really bad rep down there for doing things her own way aka completely wrong! I'm not worrying too much though, things will be OK in the end, I just want to get back home and get things set up and moving now- I've had to apply for a role as a basic administrator on the team but I'm really hoping that once I'm on the team they'll put me in charge. I'm getting to the age that I really want to move up in life, I'm sick of being plain old admin, where I was when I first started work!

ETA: I tend to mosey the Weddings Board when I get bored and I've noticed people offering their services for free so I see no reason why you can't do it! I think it's a good idea, if we were getting hitched over here I'd be taking up the offer!

Is this your last week though Birdie? It sounds as though you might have a good chance of being put in charge, you seem to be the most capable from what you say! I have an interview for a secondment within our team tomorrow, it's part time at the grade above - so will prob only work out about £10 a month extra. It's only between me and one colleague, who is extremely lazy, but I think he has a good way of presenting himself in interviews etc, whereas I'm useless. I'm not too bothered either way really, it's a weird situation to be in. Never heard a thing about the Newcastle job I applied for before I went away which is disappointing as i had all the essentials and a fair few of the desirables too, and I really liked the sound of it! :(

Just tried a pair of size 14 trousers on in Topshop, I normally struggle into their 14s in jeans and trousers, and they were too big!! Very happy, but think it may be a fluke as my own clothes still fit me! Still, good for morale. Sushi and diet coke for dinner...

    You're never a 14! You're tall but slim.

So would you be part time at current job part time at that one, making full time overall, or just part-time at the other one?

Food focus today (have put in evening meal and projected gym time already):
Food Calorie target (after exercise) : 1654
    Total Consumed: 1077
    Total Burnt through exercise: 695
    Food calories remaining: 577

Never come in so far under my target before, but I refuse to pig out on chocolate or something just to get to 0!

Haha, everyone says that but honestly all my jeans and trousers are 14s, everything else is a 12.

Blimey what do you do in the gym to burn all those calories?! I can only manage about 40 minutes before I get sick of it and that usually only comes to 300 and something. At least if you're under today it makes up for the naughtiness of last night! I was only about 100 over yesterday in the end, but only cos we went for a little walk last night. Looking good for today too but that's because I missed breakfast.

New job would mean half the week in both. Which means that whoever get it's current workload will have to spread out among the team anyway, a bit of a crappy way for the uni to save money by not hiring someone new. So although I'm not fussed about the opportunity per se, I may as well be getting a bit of extra money when it looks as though workload will be increasing either way.
