How do you actually make couscous? I've only discovered it in the last month, but as far as I'm aware it comes in a prepacked tub from tesco.

It's the easiest thing ever - and that's coming from me! - it should be near the rice in the supermarket, it comes dried in a packet. You pour it out into a bowl or straight into a packed lunch box, I used 50g today but could have done with a little bit more. It doesn't look like much but really expands. Then you pour a little bit of boiling water (60ml for 50g) over, cover, go back in 5-10 minutes and fluff it up with a fork. Then add whatever to it.

I tried a red Ainsley Harriot one once and didn't like it as much as plain. I chopped some onions up really tiny and put in some cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and sweetcorn, so the couscous is just padding really, you get the other stuff in each forkful too.

I've worked out if I leave work at 4pm, I should still be able to get an hour in the gym, so end up down on my cals for the day, which would be awesome.

I was going to go to the gym at lunchtime but I hadn't had my morning snack because of the training so I was too hungry. Might go after work... But then my cals aren't too bad for today. We'll see!

I haven't been in over a week as NIM had my car last week, so I actually ahve a big desire to go, I do find I feel a lot more energised afterwards. Although paid a little extra (£25 rather than £20) at the hairdressers last night to have a full wash and deep treatment and blow dry, gives a better cut I think and also looks nicer. But it'll get all nasty if I go to the gym and I certainly can't blow dry it as well as she has. Although no one at work has even noticed. Boohoo!

I told OH off for not noticing when I changed shampoo the other week, he wasn't impressed by that :D I know what you mean, I hate having to wash my hair for the first time after it's been cut. My MSE tactic of having it highlighted a darker shade of blonde so it's closer to my natural colour and wouldn't need doing as often is working a treat - last time I went was before Paris so end of May, it would definitely need doing again now but I think I might wait til September :D

Oh thanks haha! Well I'm naturally blonde so I have the colouring and everything I suppose, it's just got darker as I've got older and I like to give it a bit of a lift to avoid it looking too mousey. I have a few different shades put in as well, but I noticed it was getting lighter and lighter and roots were becoming noticeable so I toned it down a bit. I'd love to be really petite and mysterious with dark hair and eyes, the complete opposite of what I am!
