Several wet fish I think. In fact, lets take him down to Whitby and push him off the dock.

Aww, poor NIM! Must be the old Irish Logic at work! Have you heard any more about that insurance claim by the way?

Oh great, no wonder so many people are trying this scam. So will his premium go up?

Oy, lay off the Irish logic! :rotfl: Although not sure I count as a Northerner!

Tomorrow I am off home for the weekend until Tuesday, very excited. Am about to try to make cornish pasties for the first time. Who knew they had swede in?? And no carrots? Think my Mum seriously 'adapted' a recipe when we were kids.

Poor NIM on the insurance, that sucks.

THe final nightshift for 3 weeks. This 4 run has been a killer. Don't know why as it has not been that busy.

Roll on Friday - Pay Day!

Well, last nights dinner was okay. The cheesecake had to be binned as I forgot to put sugar in, and it was vile, so I had to quickly make another pudding, which was actually delicious. However it just seemed like a lot of work keeping conversation going. This is one of my best friends from when we were younger, right up until we went to uni, but I guess we just don't have any real common threads in our lives anymore.

Hehe, I once wondered why my fairy cakes had come out flat and hard til I looked back over the recipe and realised I'd forgotten the eggs!

It's a shame when that happens with friends, especially ones you've known so long, but I guess it's just the way it goes sometimes. Are you going to keep in touch with her still?
