Cinny isn't there a safari park down Kent way? That would be good!! (As long as OH isn't too attached to his car aeriel, wipers, wing mirrors ... )

I don't think OHs car would last that at all, although it would be fab to go. We often come back to OHs car to find various parts have dropped off and kindly been placed on his roof - his wing mirror is only held together by superglue! I think poor Reggie would fall apart from fear as soon as we entered the park!

Dinah, I was going to say I think that week off playing housewife will do you the world of good!

Yep one of my colleagues just said I should move it forward as I look like I need it. Haven't told NIM but my blood pressure is through the roof too, so really need to chill out a bit!

We went to Longleat I think it was once, and a giraffe ate all the rubber roof trim off my dads new BMW - when it rained that night the car leaked inside!

Having a bit of a panic today, have a contraceptive implant in my arm, and NIM managed to lean on it this morning and it hurt lots, and now I can't find it at all!

Have you found it yet? That never happened to me, I'd be worried too! I'm so glad I got it taken out (forgetting about the actual removal of the thing!) I feel so much better in myself and my hair has stopped falling out so much lol.
Just won my third Galaxy book :D - I stopped trying via the email rounte after I'd won two but I still always check my code if I'm having a choccie bar and this one was a winner!

I won 2 of those Galaxy books and forgot which one I had asked for and ended up with 2 the same :p

Found it, its decided to move about 4 inches down my arm towards my elbow! Removal of the first one was fine, removal of the last one has left me with a huge 1cm round scar that looks like a burn - I'm not getting another one put in, my arm will look like roadkill.

Hehe, pesky giraffes! I think if I went to Longleat I'd go in a right old banger that I wouldn't mind being eaten and walked on!
Urgh, work are really messing me about now. I'm not going to the other warehouse until a week on Monday now and they say that it is officially a week but my boss says 'I imagine it will be longer...' which does not fill me with confidence! Last January she went down south for a month and came back at Christmas!

Oh dear, i've been thinking about getting the implant but you've put me off it! Is there anything that doesn't mess up your body?! Apart from abstinence...

Urgh! The doctor who did mine did it under the scar from where they put it in which is annoying. She could have done it on top then it wouldn't look so bad! Mine looks like a burn too. Attractive.

:rotfl: Guys have it good really! I can't wait for a man pill or something.

ETA: I think the implant is actually quite good, I just had some horrible side-effects and the removal was traumatic. But other than that! :p

This is my third implant, had them for 8 years in total, and they are still my fav contraception. Very hassle free, safer than sterilisation. However being on them for so long does seem to have gotten to me a bit I think, the last scar just bugs me, as I now have 5 scars, 4 of which look like tiny freckles and one looks like I've been scalded! I've tried the pill, injection (never, ever again), condoms, patch, and this is definitely the easiest and with least side effects. Can't try a lot of things now due to the blood pressure.
