We can't book it until the holiday brochure for the time in question is released, the perils of getting married abroad! We've settled on February 2011 but we're going to have to figure out when half term is so we can try to fit it around that week as we've got 3 teachers coming! I really hope they're all off at the same time!

If they all work in the same LA they should be. Are you still looking at dresses, it's been a while since the last DOTD...

Just looking at airport parking...annoyingly because we fly at 1am we'll need to get there technically the day before so it's counted as 8 days rather than seven. £37's the best I can get, which is cheaper than taxis there and back I suppose. No-one's going to take us at that time or pick us up at 6am!

Well the problem is that 2 work in N.Yorks and the other works in Leeds so is that classed as W.Yorks? Crossing my fingers that it'll all work out OK!

Which airport Tete? I need to find something for Newcastle for August I think (unless mum is still off school, in which case I'll smile really, really nicely!).

When does the brochure get put out Birdie, definitely decided on doing it abroad then? If the teachers aren't off at the same time you'll just have to pick the week that 2 of them are off, or the week the one closest to you is off, or at worst consider moving it to the easter break?

Newcastle. Callerton are coming out cheapest at £37 - this is their price for 7/8 days, I think the others must have one price for 7 days and then it jumps up for 8 days because the next cheapest I've found is £45. Sometimes I feel like I hemmhorrage money! Yes I know I've spelt that totally wrong.

Just won my third Galaxy book - I stopped trying via the email rounte after I'd won two but I still always check my code if I'm having a choccie bar and this one was a winner!

ETA - Cinny isn't there a safari park down Kent way? That would be good!! (As long as OH isn't too attached to his car aeriel, wipers, wing mirrors ... )

One of my colleagues just commented on how tired and stressed I seem at the moment, but she chatted to me for 20mins and she laughed and said clearly its just the job as I'm fine in myself. Really think I need to knuckle down to the painting thing and try to work out how to do a website by the end of my week off in July.

I don't even know when the brochure for Feb 2011 will be out. I'm hoping that in the coming February we'll be able to book as usually you can book a year in advance. The girl we asked in the travel agent was next to useless!
