Okay cupcakes are AMAZING, even if I do say so myself. Lighter than air and totally delicious. NIM is on a sugar high as the recipie makes far, far too much frosting, so he ate it all. Only thing is firstly, 40g of butter just does not form a batter with 140g of flour and 100g of sugar and 40g of cocoa, it just sits there, coated in powder, a bit lost. And using a handheld whisk on it as advised is mental cos the flour goes everywhere! Secondly, 12 cupcakes my foot! It made 9, and they weren't even all that deep! Would definitely recomend doubling the quantities and you should get about 18 cupcakes.

awesome Dinah thats a good amount and will deffo keep NIM in the black!!
I went to the pub last night and spent about a fiver on drinks and stuff, but I normally ony have water when we go there (its quite an expensive place) so therefore I think its ok, plus I had a really good time!
I am however not finding ways to make my extra cash! Its so upsetting! I really want to hit my target and I cant know how much to expect in wages untill friday! (And I hope my tax code is all sorted!)!
only 8 of my 28 ebay things are currently going to sell, and most of these are for 99p :( but hey, there are a few watchers and they don't end till this evening so hopefully there will be some bidding wars! None of my stuff is that great but every little helps! Then I just have to work out all of the packaging, and I can just relist the stuff which didnt sell.
Did everyone see that it is free listing tomorrow?!?!?!? I might list some more expnsive things, but I do resent the 10% FVF!

Not a lot else to report really apart from that I'm getting back into bingoport, (slowly but surely!) to get some amazon vouchers - don't know what to buy yet but I'm figuring it will be good for OHs games - he can pay me for them lol) or presents or uni books!!

Hope everyone has a good day, I can guarentee mine will be boring!

Morning! Glad the cupcakes went down a treat Dinah!
I hope more of your ebay things sell Tink, everyone waits until the end to bid so there may well be a bidding war!
My golf lesson was OK last night, I have a 'lovely' follow through apparently! The green was waterlogged after a massive downpour in the afternoon so we could only go on the driving range and practice our swings, just as I thought I got it right the Golf Pro Man came and told me to do something else, there's so much to remember- solid feet, soft knees, bum sticking out, straight arms, twist on the back swing etc. With the muggy heat and hitting about 200 balls I was exhausted by the end of the lesson!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Glad you had a good time Birdie. NIM apparently is leathal at golf (not in the good sense, in the sense that someone 400metres behind him could suddenly find they have a black eye), but he wants us to go to a driving range for fun, I'm scared.

Just got a text off NIMs mum to check she had the right number, now I've sort of fallen into a conversation she seems reluctant to reply to but is because its polite, and I'm trying so damn hard it hurts. ARGH.

Cinny where are the cupcake boxes from? Might need to get one or two for next time I go back to Ireland.

I'm holding off on the Ebay this week, we were planning to upload tomorrow night, but free listings day encourages so much extra stuff listings seem to get lost and finish at less money, so going to hold off a bit.

Managed to utterly mess up being romantic this morning. NIM came to hug me and said he couldn't believe it had been a year, I said it felt like a lot longer! I tried to save by saying I couldn't imagine a time he wasn't in my life for the better, and we'd known each other a lot longer than we've been a couple, don't think he bought it though!

    ETA uhoh. Another text.

Tink - Hopefully some of your bits will go higher, a lot of people dont put bids in till the last minute.

Birdie - glad you had a good lesson, sounds very hard work!

Dinah - I am always ruining romantic moments. What has NIMs mum got to say for herself? My OH's family always ring and text me as he is so rubbish at replying. OK when its his sisters but with awkward when its his mum!

:rotfl: I know what you mean though, you just feel like you've had so much fun and got to know each other so well, you can't believe it's only been such a short time!

I'd be tempted just to leave NIM's mum to not reply TBH! I don't suffer fools easily! I noticed the free listings, but I think you're probably right about the site being flooded. Most of my items started at 99p anyway which is free to list. Three have bids on now, one of my bags has 18 watchers and the other 9 so I'm hoping for a bidding war! Let us know how you get on tonight Tink!

Has anyone on here ever queried a Quidco thing not being tracked? I booked the holiday through them on Sunday and should be getting about £12 back but there's no sign of it... Also trying to remember the other thing I thought of last night that hasn't tracked but I can't - any guesses as to what it might be?! :o

Birdie, the way you describe it golf is probably really good for the stomach muscles and arms! I was torn this morning about bringing my book in to sit outside with at dinnertime, or bringing my gym kit for Body Conditioning (which I've only just recovered from!_ and I opted for the gym kit

I'm actually missing the gym this week, but its just too manic. Have suggested to NIM we go for a walk at Castle Eden Walkway this evening since we can't really afford to do anything, don't feel like spending a 'romantic' day in the house.

She just asked about the number, then i made a comment on how it was nice weather and i hoped she got lots of golf in, she said she did, i got into a people-pleasing panic and wrote her an essay, she said okay, take care.... urgh, why do i crave validation off this woman so much?!

Lots on quidco don't track, you can open an earnings enquiry.
