Aye I have the spreadsheet but it seems to take forever to do the clicks, I gave up after about 2 days!!!

Ofc New Years is a completely arbitrary date, I very, very much doubt he'd ask then, but its more a £100 a month thing, than a specific date in mind.

Tete - Not a problem on the car thing. The bear situation looks like it has settled down as long as they are not regrouping. Will know if it has settled once we get back from Paris. If the place is a mess then we will know the bears have joined alliances with somebody else (I suspect the bananas personally)

Cinny - you are def right that people don't need uni. Look at my OH , he went to college one year then quit and is now about to start a better paid job than me in the police. He has no debts as well where as I have my student loan , overdraft etc. Obviously it does have it benefits going to uni but it is not the be all and end all.

I am doing rubbish on my 5 pounds a day. My cheque from envirophone should arrive today or tomorrow though so that will be another 30 quid and we are doing car boot sale sunday.

When I was a student (10 years ago now!) I had to get a student loan for my day to day as my parents could not afford to give me money every month. Still paying for it although I did go on and do my masters (which was another loan - at least that will be paid off by Feb 2010). Once this loan clears spare money to pay off the rest of the CC and OH.

I want to get 100 items on ebay by Sunday, but the week is so busy it doesn't seem likely! Still, whenever I get those 2 laptops listed we should feel a decent savings bump. I suppose its a bit arbritray if its this month or next month.

Bananas are b*st*rds, everyone knows that - look at how they make all the other fruit go mouldy!

Wendz, I totally agree, my OH started his job as a trainee and is now on 50% more than me AND his work are paying for him to go through uni and once he's got his degree they'll pay for his masters. I'm doing a job that I certainly don't need A-levels for, let along BA Hons French and Spanish! I think kids are persuaded into thinking uni's their best option but for the most part graduates are leaving university with a qualification but no actual skills or experience. (Bit of a soapbox issue for me this sorry!)

100 items on ebay Dinah  I'd be stressed to death when it came to them finishing!!

NIM is a right packaging master, he can get through them so quick! Going to put up the first 25 or so tonight, and try to do another 10 listings I hope which can go up tonight or tomorrow.

My body is soooo confused at the moment.

Was afternoon shift up till Friday, then worked Saturday night (to cover since colleague was moving house) and last night. Off today and back for 2 more nights tommorrow.

Off Thursday and Friday and back all weekend day shift. At least it is not long till a) Paris and b) Pay Day!

Really need payday as the joint account is in the overdraft because I want to keep the savings money for Paris. There is enough in the savings to easily cover the OD.

    hey guys!
I know I posted a rather optimistic target but my theory was that there are 2 paydays before the 7th July and I worked 5.5 days last week, and I hopefully will do the same again this week, if all of my tax etc is sorted out, I should net about £440 (I think! - I know its not a lot but hey) and then I am hoping that £50 from other work I did and something else will come through!
I had a trial day for a new job this weekend too and I got the job! so far it is only one sunday a week, but I hope I might get a load more work once it is the school holidays (Its sort of a childrens place)
Dinah, are you Northallerton way? (I thought I had heard of the place and i think its someone on here!) Just OH is going to apply for a job there I think!!
He got his degree class a 2:2 the other day, think he's a bit dissapointed but he's ok :)
Anyways, got to go and water my veggies I've planted over the weekend!
