Gosh, I haven't played Sims for AGES! I used to spend hours on Theme Hospital too. Ahh, happy days
Good news about the PPI, Pilchard! I love a sudden influx of cash!
I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in weeks and I ache so much today AND I've signed up for a circuits class this lunchtime. Eek. But, when I was checking the joint account I realised that the gym payments haven't been coming out - I've got a copy of the direct debit form and it's signed and everything so I think they've just messed up. Now, obviously I want to tell them, but I can't afford to pay the last 4 months instalments all at once and I don't know if they have the authority to collect this? Any ideas?
Dinah, how exciting about the house-building venture - you really know how to put things into action once you get an idea into your head!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I don't know to be honest. It's a big step to take either way. But I am hoping to get the paintings going too, they might provide a bit of a second income with a lot of luck!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oooh, Poddle I loved Theme Hospital! I've still got it somewhere actually, may have to dig it out!
I don't know what to do about the gym though, maybe if you speak to them and they want the money you can sort out a payment plan with them so you're paying it over a longer period than in one chunk?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I got so far on Theme Hospital! Until it got too hard...
How exciting about all the house activity! Wish I had something specific to work towards. My OH is saving for our house deposit tho and he currently has £1200 which he kept quiet! He is saving £150 a week at the mo so I'm pretty proud of him cuz he is a spender like me. Nice to know he is serious about our future!
Cinny I'm a bit confused...is it an actual house you're going to buy or is it a new build that you're putting a deposit on? Or have I got the wrong idea completely?! It's probably really obvious but I've misread something along the way..Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I know a girl in my yeah who is divorced with three kids at 22, that must be strange!
I love the sims, getting tempted to get it. I used to love theme hospital too and theme park.
I am feeling a bit ill still today, have a stomach ache that has been with me since yesterday evening, had trouble sleeping because of it. Struggling through though.
Not looking forward to this tube strike, means i am going to have a long traina dn bus ride to work.0 -
I don't envy you being in London when things like tube strikes cause havoc Wendz! And I'm sorry you still don't feel well, hope it sorts itself out today!
It's lovely that your OH has been saving for a deposit Zig! It's great to know that he's planning for your future!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

It's kind of only just hit me that this first year of uni has gone so fast, and I only have two more years then me and my OH can be together properly. I'm so excited! :j :smileyhea: My OH doesn't tend to plan ahead so I'm so pleased that he cares enough to start saving now. I just need to get rid of this overdraft so I can help!
Divorced and three kids by 22, that must be hard! I know a girl who is 17 and on her second kid. That shocked me a bit! My Dad would disown me I think. I was talking to my family yesterday about my plans and they were like 'finish uni, get a house, get a job, work for 5 years then think about kids'. Do I get a choice in the matter?! Little do they know that I want to start trying for kids as soon as I get a job...My worst nightmare is not being able to have kids, or it taking years and I've left it too late.
Sorry for the rambling...

I used to want kids asap, but now I'm trying to find a compromise between working for a few years so we're comfortable financially and not wanting to leave it too late because of my blood pressure.

Lol I say that in my very last post, some of NIMs friends have just started trying for a baby, we're the only ones they've told. NIM sent me a message to say he was 'feeling a lil broody :-( ' : I can't cope if we both feel a little broody, we need one of us scared to stop us tearing at one another like rabid annimals!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
