Dinah - Let me know if you need it. I gave Tete a copy as well.
Teddy was held tightly by OH to get him home. He has been given prime position and has taken over the TV remote. I am getting sick of watch Teddy TV!!!!! Also not very money saving having a bear in the back of your car.
Car is running like a little dream. Have been out and about all day in it so really getting used to the gearbox.0 -
Lol I like the sound of teddy, sounds like he's quickly become head of the household!
Had to laugh at the coffee TPA. Having sulked we missed out on those meals, and have to redo a £40 assignment, we've managed to get 4 of the £20 petrol jobs up until now, and a few really nicely paying other jobs as well, so really chuffed with how the MS is going this month. Can calculate at least £195 we'll be getting back and is profit not reimbursement from the ones so far last week and this weekend - yey!!!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well Teddy had the TV remote last night when we went to bed. Hopefully he behaved himself - will only find out when the Sky bill comes in!
Dinah - Have sent you the spreadsheet.0 -
:hello: Hi Cinnys OH!! (Rich?? I think - might be wrong though!!)
Yep, It's Rich!
I'm sure there won't be any problems though, if you say you get along I don't see how that could change by living together. Where is it you're going on holiday? (mind like a goldfish's!)
TPA - I had to giggle at the coffee thing too, more so because it sounds like something I would do!
Poolie sounds like Sir Teddington is living the high life! I'd just start worrying when he gets his own chair at the dinner table. How's the car running?
Weather is ruddy awful today, raining like it did in the floods! So I think I might just head to the library and the indoor market rather than trooping all around town!0 -
Morning all
Thanks for the spreadsheet Poolie, it's great. Just one question. Do you have any idea how I can add a bit so I can put in mpg and calculate how much petrol each car would get through in a month. Not bothered about tank size but am bothered about if it'll cut my fuel bill!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Morning everyone,
Is the day of the summer ball i am going to today and the weather is yuck. Has been nice and sunny the last 3 years i went. Never mind, sure we will still have fun! My wings and halo haven't arrived yet , they said they would be here by today so am waiting for postman to come and then leaving straight after. If they don't come my friend is going to get me some from fancy dress shop.0 -

Argh, I need to learn to use spreadsheets! Or I need to accept they don't do such fancy things. I want a row for depreciation per annum, and another row for maintenance per annum, and then a super row to tell me how much I will have spent out on a car over 3 years vs how much it is now worth. While the current car is depreciating at a negligable rate (because its worth sod all) it's costing about £500 a year in maintenance which we see no return on either, so this is an important consideration.
Pretty chuffed though, I've found tickets to Ireland, £16 return each AND neither of us would actually have to loose a days holiday because of the flight times.
I woke up over 2 hours ago, but NIM is hugging my leg so I can't get up! So I have looked at cars, researched flights, bought a load of books for christmas/birthday pressies and just plain treats off the book people and bananas books, tried to find a new charger for the laptop (so expensive I'm going to tear the house apart first!), read loads of threads on here, checked all the online banking accounts, and now I'm about to apply for a saver for the holiday funds as since we didn't open the Tesco accounts as we're waiting for a points offer we're one short. Found £145 in the car account though which is good. My insurance is up for renewal at the very start of October, and it needs an MOT in September, NIMs insurance is in November/December time too, and he needs a new sump plate if his car is still working!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lol I'll happily make the aprons when I work out how to use my sewing machine. I'll admit I'm a bit tempted to take a week off when mum and dad are in Italy and NIM and I have the house to ourselves. I can spend all day painting and learning to sew, and make his dinner for when he comes home!
I still have 34 days holiday to take this year, 12 of which can be taken with nim (down to 22 now) and 4 of which I want to use to have a 2 week Christmas break (18 now), and his holiday runs Jan-Jan while mine is April-April so we might have a winter weekend somewhere (my Birthday is a Monday, 2 days here me thinks!) but that still leaves me 2 weeks to use up, so the idea of taking a little summer break to do creative things at home when everyone away is really tempting.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
