Was just lucky that BC had a balance transfer at the right time. Shame they didn't when I wanted to shift the Asda card but hey hoo.
The BC has actually been cleared twice before so will not be too long before it goes the same way.
Just had a call from the dealers about the car. Thought it was going to be bad news, but luckily they just need to take a copy of the V5 and current MOT so Toyota can sort out the money from the Government. Will have to fly up after work. I had been carrying the documents to the garage with me anyway so they could have had copies earlier.0 -
Dinah - I am sure you will be fine. Your good at your job and you get your work done. I am sure there is some dead wood in the office that will be push over the cliff first.
Tete - Don't worry about it. I have been full of energy so good way to use it. I think tonight I will curl up with the ironing board and the pile of ironing while OH goes out. Looking forward to a quieter night.0 -
Lol I think I'm second in the dead wood line, sadly while I get the work done, I'm not passionate which incredably some people are.
Just had an utter panic I'd lost my Claddagh ring (it's too big so it falls off), but found it about 10 mins later inside my boot! Growing room is a bad plan when it comes to jewellery (that said NIM had to guess my size and he didn't do badly considering I have tiny fingers!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Poolie what with this comment and your 'killing off' of the CCs, I'm a bit scared of you!!
Dinah I'm sure they'll do everything they can to keep everyone in jobs, surely if there need to be redundancies they'll offer voluntary ones before compulsory, maybe there are some older members of staff who'll take it?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Agreed! But I can understand you getting worried, just try and put it out of your mind for now.
My belly is going grumble crazy, I hate being the only one in the office. I'm a right slacker! Off to eat my 10p reduced fruit trays to keep me ticking over until dinner. Then I best get to work properly.0 -
Don't worry about it too much Dinah, I know it is difficult to not worry about these things, but there's nothing you can do so you'll just have to hum 'Que Sera Sera' all day!
I've just been super productive, signed a confirmation of change of address for my Tesco CC to post, changed the address on my drivers license and sent it off to be done and filled in the DD form for the council tax. These have all been on my 'to do' list for ages! Go me! Now, if only I could be as productive at work...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Don't worry Tete, I only have an evil side when it comes to clearing debts, people are good at their jobs loosing them and not been allowed beer.
"No TV and No Beer makes Homer crazy" - well substitute Homer for Poolie and you have the idea.
Dinah, Tete is right they will offer voluntary first. I am sure there will be some people who would be quiet happy to take early retirement.0 -
What's a fruit tray Cinny?
Well done on all that Birdie, I bet it's been nagging away in the back of your mind for ages. I end up with stuff like that and when I actually get around to just doing it it takes all of 3 minutes!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Same here Birdie and Tete. I have a list in my mind about twice the length of my arms. If I could only motivate myself to get a few of them done. Most of them are silly like clear out car and tidy paperwork.0

How much does it cost to change an address on a driving licence Birdie?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
