Evening everyone :hello:
Sorry I've been MIA - not much going on here, I'm afraid.I'm needing to reign in my food shopping spending, but there seem to be too many "good" offers on at the moment.
On the plus side, I had boiled eggs with toast for supper tonight. Life in the fast lane, eh?
I don't know whether anyone else here is a member of the Tesco Healthy Living Club? Their latest mailing has my recipe (or very close to it) for Chocolate Beetroot cake! There are also a couple of other nice looking recipes.
Take care everyone

PenelopePenguin - Apricot and Cinammon Bread sounds GORGEOUS...! Please may I have the recipe?!?
I have a BM which I love!
I've made it up, so it's still in development, reallyI do a 500g of flour loaf in my Panasonic BM, using butter, brown sugar, Tbsp cinnamon, 150g chopped apricots. I've done an apricot and raisin one today for tomorrow's breakfast :T
Thank you all for your baking suggestions :A I've made a fruit cake and a Victoria Sponge (and have printed Aunt Sally's apple cake for another day)

Morning! Nah I look at all your folks up at 5 am n stuff and wish I could do that but then again it would be more hours to fill.
I only go to bed at 12.30 and then it takes me about an hr and a half to get to sleep cos of the flatmates snoring and then cos its hot and I am worried about things I don't tend to sleep well. Then flatmate is up at 6 am and disturbs me and puts his bed up etc.I try to go back to sleep cos but it is uncomfy on the sofa and very light in the flat as we only have one curtain that doesnt go across the broken pelmet and then usually even if I do get back to sleep, the chav in the flat downstairs plays pumping Rnb garbage that wakes me and gives me a nice headache to start the day.
I don't think I have had an actual good nights sleep in the last 5 years what with not having a bed etc and I feel permanently tired.
Time to move out I would say!NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
