But the result after bracework will still be your own natural teeth.

Once you have veneers on, then they will need replacing every few years.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • £25?

    how you manage that!
  • Hellooooooo, well to say I am not hapy with my "zoom treatment" would be an understatement. The teeth went from just about white to yellowing again very soon :(
Just looking for advice from toothsmith I have seen this product at argos so gave it a search for cheaper price and found this web site. Do you have an opinion about it? http://www.smile4you.co.uk/order.htm
It says 100% safe and no peroxide which I thought was the stuff that whitened em? Hmm, seems to good to be true at the price and the attachment that comes the ray is this what helps to whiten them?
I look forward to your response oh knowledgable one

How many ciggys were smoked in that time?? :)

Zoom does do that- as I said, It's good for instant 'wow' but the results don't last.

Tray and gel systems are by far and away a more stable way to do it, but PROPER tray and gel systems, from the dentist. Not Argos.

There is a saying, is there not, " If something LOOKS to good to be true......."

:rotfl: Knew you would say that ha
Just cant understand why they are allowed to pollute us with this rubbish if not true? The smile4you website has many sources of reference to things like mens health and womens mags declaring it is "the best" although obvoiusly at £23 sense would say it can't be the best  Oh well back to the dentist I go then for another £250 to throw at my teggs  :D
And don't know how many ciggies, I am crap I actually knew it would happen but like to moan anyway
  • toothsmith, im getting my other wisdom tooth out tomorrow, going to ask if next appointment could be both root treatments at the same time. as the sooner thats done the sooner i can go to orthodontists and see about my braces................................

that gives the cavities time to settle so i can have them internally bleached after braces come off

or am i better doing the trays first and then getting them internally bleached?

    advice welcome Tooth.

    Internal bleaching first.

Internal bleaching is the more unpredictable thing. They wil want to do that first to make sure they can get a good result.

If they match it to the rest of your teeth, then you go on and do all of them, then the tray will still fit over that tooth, and you will put gel in that space just the same. That will lighten that tooth more - just like it will on the rest of your teeth.

Internal first - then do all of them.

    Good luck with the wizzy!
