I dont know but my dentist said to my daughter dont go over 16%. If I was you I would write to dentist.net and give them the details about yourself and what youve been using and ask thier recommendation. From what I see they don't sell the one you have been using on the site so it may be just a different one you could try at 16%
I always thought that your teeth will only whiten to what they genetically are meant to be you may have reached the whitest your going to get but I'd write and ask them if I were youThanx

My daughters cost £80 for top and bottom but I suppose it will vary from dentist to dentist. We found that the price varied with the same Dentist chain at different branches within the same areaThanx

I would say that very few dentists will be willing to do this for reasons that I outlined earlier in this thread.
It is my guess that Lady K's daughter's dentist seriously regets doing it, and is praying to all the dental gods that there are no ill efects that they could be held responsible for as they were complicit in the treatment. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

The stuff they sell in the shops isn't strong enough to whiten your teeth. End of story;)
The kit the dentists sell and what you can buy online from USA is technically illegal here. Believe me, I know. I work for trading standards:p BUT it is the only stuff that will whiten our teeth. Our regulations on cosmetic bleach are outdated as they were designed for facial bleach and not dental bleach. They are in place to stop the illegal sale of facial bleach which has been used in the past by Asians and black people to attain whiter skin which was seen to be 'desirable'.
The kit they sell in Boots (or anywhere else), will only bleach surface stains. If you want to penetrate the enamel and bleach the dentine you need an 'illegal' strength bleach (over 10% carbamide peroxide) which the shops will not sell because they will not risk prosecution.
Sorry to be blunt, but that is the truth!!!:D:beer: My glass is half full :beer:0 -

For what it's worth - I recently bought a Sonicare toothbrush and after using it only a couple of times, my daughter commented on how white my teeth looked. The toothbrush was expensive (£60+), but surely safer than using bleaching agents!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
