My broadband went live yesterday! Really happy about that!
Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well from now on. Their forum based help was really brilliant! (Thanks Emma!).
Hopefully will save quite a bit on phone calls and line rental from now on! From May 1st they've included free local calls at anytime and from June 2nd you also get 0845/0870 numbers for free.

I hope the hick-ups were just teething problems! Will report back on how things are progressing!

I am another happy Talktalk customer. The few queries I have had were dealt with quickly and efficiently by customer service. I have been with them for nearly 18 months now, and shall remain with them as long as things go as they are at the moment.:T

I've been with Talk talk two weeks now. Couldn't have been simpler to join, everything went brilliantly. However..... have had constant problems connecting to t'internet (4 computer wireless connections over a 4-storey house) and, until this evening seriously low speeds (went from 1700kbps to 11Mbps just this evening). If I can get the connection right I would say everything was perfect. The customer service, whilst admittedly not effective so far, has been excellent in its attitude. The price is good - £10.50 line rental, £6.49 broadband (40 gig but was told they wouldn't take issue unless it went up to 60 gig) and £4 for anytime calls including abroad. All tech support calls are free to TT customers (0870 number otherwise) so £21 for all calls and broadband. Not bad... and hugely less than BT. Now, if I could just get a fast regular broadband service........
BTW thank alared for the forum tip - will try that.....
