From what I gathered from their website their customer services is totally rubbish and you are better off getting on their forum and having your questions answered there.

Sckeptical but keeping my fingers crossed none the less...

Still havent received the fabled "Welcome pack" though!

I am the official company representative of Talk Talk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Hi Alared,
I had to wait until yesterday to be able to sign on over there on the TT forums, had to wait for my first bill to have my customer number as the number I was given by their CS over the phone was wrong. Still I dont understand how their phone service is so bad and their web based one is so good so far!

I hope you now have a trouble free experience with TalkTalk as I have had for the past 13 months.
Now you are able to access their forums, any queries can be dealt with by the reps who do a great job.

Their "customer service" is based in S.Africa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of AOL support, they always used to say "if you log onto our forums....."

Trouble is, if your internet is broke, you cant log onto the forums!!

I've been with TalkTalk for about 2 years now, never had a problem that I couldn't get resolved quickly. Oh, and I've joined the member forums as well.

But, I agree with DebtHater: if your internet's broken, you can't go to the website. Now there's a paradox (or is it an oxymoron?)

These are the clowns who ring me at home six or seven times a week asking to speak to the "telephone account holder". Now, when they don't announce themselves as from TalkTalk, one would assume they are calling from the company the telephone is actually with !

    Hows that for misrepresentation?
