Morning. Nope wasn't working yesterday thankfully, but did have the dentist instead :(
Thought I was having an extraction but then he filled it instead which was nice. They tried to charge me again for the treatment when I had already paid. It took an age in reception to sort it out, but I was right and I didn't owe money so I'm glad I queried it, so many people would just pay it.

It's my eldest daughter's birthday today so we're having a takeaway tonight and probably cake - yum.

I've had a tax credit overpayment from submitting my end of year last week but I'm going to wait to decide what to do with it until I get my paperwork and find out how much I'm getting this year.

Off to work later, and get a few more bits and pieces on Ebay. The pile doesn;t seem to be getting any smaller though but at least some money is trickling in now.

Oh dear, no work and you have to go to the dentist - you brave person!! I'm such a coward, haven't been to a dentist since I was about 12!! :o

Well done for querying the payment at the dentist, you are right, so many people just part with their cash without question!

Happy Birthday to your DD!! Perfect excuse for a take-away if you ask me ;)

I have some ebay bits and pieces that I have taken pictures of, I had a few items which ended today, they have made me about £10 so not bad for 2 or 3 listings!!

Thank cwc she had a great day despite having to go to school lol.

I hadn't been to the dentist since I was 16 until this year. My teeth have always been fine but when I was pregnant with dd2 two teeth just fell apart and the another got a hole in it, hence the work. It was becoming painful to eat on one side so I knew I HAD to do something before it caused me even more trouble.

I think in ix months time he'll make me have more work done but I have told myself to keep going for my daughter's sake as I'll be taking her next time and I do like my dentist he has been very good with me.

I'm about to go and check my bank account as I'm waiting on some paypal money and if it' in there I can reduce that loan a bit more this morning.

Well done on the ebay listings. I can tell it's coming up the end of the month as I have bids on a few of mine at the mo and things I have listed and listed are selling which is good.
I'm finishing work early tonight so I'm going to get some new listings on tonight for ten days to end at the end of the month and keep relisting tomorrow and sat and put new on on sunday again I think.

Had a lovely day in the sun yesterday. Am taking dd1 out shopping today for her birthday :eek: could be expensive lol.

I have had quite a few ebay sales over the last few days but people are getting really slow to pay, or assuming they can bid from abroad and not aak about postage which is really winding me up, so my sales look a bit all over the place at the mo.

Also need to have another sort out for some more bits, though lord knows where I'll find the motivation from to store and list.

Frustrating as it is, don't give up on Ebay - you are doing so well - do you realise you have paid almost 19% of your loan off already and this is only May. :T Amazing and very inspiring. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Primula, I hadn't looked at it in percentages, that is a great amount for a month down the line.

I spent a fortune today, well feels like it but I have one very happy teenage daughter and also bought a present for our friend's daughter next week as well as a garden table and chairs for dd2 towards her birthday pressie. Oh and wallpaper for dd2's room. Gulp lol.

Back to ebaying then I guess.

Well Done yukkibear, that is a great percentage you've paid off - almost a quarter! :j You've made another payment since I was on here on Friday too I think - you're doing so well!!

Glad to hear you have decided on wallpaper for your DDs room - is she excited about getting into her new bed yet? My DD is still being really good at not getting up after she's had her bedtime story - I just hope it lasts and we're not being lured into a false sense of security! :rotfl:

Thats nice that you had a nice day with your DD shopping, there's nothing like a bit of mum and daughter shopping time!

    Talk to you tomorrow!
