I've paid £10 off the loan this morning from profit from a matched bet the other day that hit my account this morning.

I had my first unhappy ebay customer last night. She's left me positive feedback and then complained to me via email about the item which was bn when I sold it. Cheeky mare wanted a refund plus postage to send it back but I said I'd only refund her for the item when I receive it and not her postage. I'm not her personal cash point!

It's only a few quid so it's not a prob but I KNOW the item was in perfect bnwt condition when it left me so not sure what she's up to, but I have realised the more I am selling, the more risk I'm going to get from someone complaining before long.

Never mind, off to work today and then it's the weekend! Yay.

Have one more parcel to post off this morning and some watchers on items ending later tonight. Must put a couple more on later.

Well done on paying the £10 off against the loan!! :T

Thats a shame you've had an unhappy customer, some people just push their luck with trying to get refunds for the postage as well as the item - its them who spoil it for good honest ebayers!

I'm looking forward to the weekend too, going horseriding with my sis on Sunday so that'll be good - its through my sports and social at work so heavily discounted which makes it even better! :j

Don't work too hard, and hope the ebay sales (from HAPPY customers!) keep rolling in!! x

Free scratchcard money is going into bonus money place now on TAB so that's another freebie lost :(

I know, it's pants isn't it! I only realised what was happening today. I wonder if we still do the free scratchcards though and then use the bonus money on bingo, if we win on the bingo, is that counted as "real" money that we can withdraw or would the winnings go into "bonus" money too as it was won with "bonus" money?

    Have a good weekend.

Primula I think that's what will happen. I am going to keep doing it and then I can play free bingo when I'm bored etc.

CWC have a fab time horse riding. My ebayer buy is all of a sudden being polite today after yesterday shouting at me in capital letters threatening to go to ebay etc. I advised her to keep all copies of communication if she was going to ebay as I was keeping all mine, and now she is being polite. hmmm, well I'll get the item back and refund and send her away into oblivion.

Tonight I am playing free bingo and looking into a couple of betting offers I have got in my email box.
Two more small ebay sales today so the pile is dwindling slowly thankfully more to get rid of some stuff as well as the money lol.

Thanks Yukkibear, so long as it stays dry the horseriding should be a nice treat!

Glad to hear your ebayer is being nice!! She maybe thought threatening to go to ebay to complain would get her more discount or something... fingers crossed you get the item back nice and quickly so she's not in your inbox/ebay messages for much longer!!

I've had a couple of emails about bingo sites matching your deposit but haven't looked into it yet. I used to play on Gala on a Thursday night when it was free, won £20 on my first night but must have been beginnners luck! :rotfl:

Well done on the ebay sales today... its always nice to get the stuff packaged up for posting and out of the way! Your loan will be gone before you know it! :T

Have a great weekend if I don't talk to you tomorrow! cwc x
  • Keep your chin up Yukkibear! Some e-bay buyers just think you owe them a living don't they?

Thanks for answering my question, by the way. I've lost a bit of weight and have dropped a dress size so I think I might sell the two pairs of size 18 Next jeans that I bought new, and only wore for five weeks before they got too big LOL.

I sold some Temple Spa face-mask (which I paid £20 for) and I got just £6.10 + £2.00 P&P for (sob) and it was also un-used so my buyer got a bargain. I like that e-bay now don't charge you for listing if it's under 99p, in my old e-baying days that was a pain, 20p for anything under £1. I need to try and earn as much extra money as I can now.

Hello Yukkibear - sounds like you're going full steam ahead at your loan. I did something pretty similar last year - the amount was a bit higher but I managed to see off the loan in 13 months rather than 30. It's made a total change to our lives too because we've continued living in the way we had to to get the loan gone, so the savings account is growing a quite a rate now.

I must get back to ebay listing - I have several bits kicking about that I suspect might well sell. As you say the 99p free listings make it worthwhile just continuing to relist anything that doesn't go.

Thanks for your comments and encouragements guys :)

I keep finding bits to ebay and while I do I think I'll keep listing if only to see the loan gone.

I managed to pay £50 off this weekend as paypal money came into my account so that has seen some more off the total which is great.
I am hoping I will keep up the cheaper way of living afterwards as well as there is so much I want to get done to the house and have a holiday etc as well as keeping some rainy day money back.

Weds, thurs and fri were nsd without realising it which was nice when I realised, but today I had to go and buy some birthday cards and a pressie for my friend who has just had a baby, and I did treat myself to something out of my ebay money, but I justified that as it wasn't money I was expecting.

EH you have saved a massive amount already this year that's brilliant. I would love your secrets lol.

IF it's disheartening when things you hope to sell sell for a little amount, but then it can work the other way around and things you don't expect to selll, people fight over lol.

Off to update my diary then do some studying.... DD is wailing/crying/whinging at me and OH to go through to her toom to see her, we've stopped giving her a dummy at bedtime (night 2 of this) because I've told her is she's going to be 2 and in a big girl bed next week she can't have a dummy..... wishing I hadn't binned them all now!
