Well our picnic was lovely but it was freezing and rained a bit too (great british weather).

I have sorted a pile of clothes ready to be ironed and photoed tomorrow for ebay so will chuck some more listings on.
I have a dd free afternoon tomorrow so no excuse apart from having to go to the dentist again :( but I'm not quite as worried as I was last week even though I know it wont be pleasant but at least I know what I'm expecting this time.

When is your exam CWC? Good luck with it.
  • Hello there, and best of luck to you. I think the flexi loan was a good idea if you can stay committed (and you sound very keen), Can I ask? What sort of stuff are you selling on e-bay. I think I will have to join you, but I keep looking at things and thinking "no one will want to buy them".
    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

Hi IF and welcome to my diary. I am selling any old clothes that I have in my wardrobe not wearing for ages etc. Old toys and books from the kids, anything I can find round my house that I no longer want or need.
I find baby bits sell well and I have a few of those hiding in cupboards.

This morning I managed to pay £75 off the loan from quidco and top cash back landing in my account.

My oldest sorted her wardrobe last night so I have a big pile of clothes to sort through and either send to charity or photograph ready for listing later.

I HAVE to keep the motivation up even when I don't feel like it as I really want other things in my life without having a loan hanging around my neck.

Morning Yukkibear, well done on the £75 off your loan, thats a good boost for you!! :T

I have ebay stuff to list as well, but I think I'm going to wait until my next two exams are over next week, then I'll get stuck right in!!

Yes one thing at a time cwc, you'll explode otherwise lol.

I went to package up an ebay parcel this morning and I realised that my older daughter must have got to it (bottle of perfume). I listed it as used once but it's got a bit more than used once gone from it which is annoying so I have mailed the buyer to let them know and I'll see what they say, but it could be a sale lost :(

Free scratchcard money is going into bonus money place now on TAB so that's another freebie lost :(

My house feels very cluttered this morning and I'm not sure why, it's no better or worse than it ever is lol. I have run out of packaging materieals as well so may have to buy some more and improvise for one I need to send tomorrow.

Hey ho one of those days lol, off to work later so that'll keep me busy.

That is a shame!! Hopefully its an understanding buyer and they still want the perfume!! Little girls and their curiousity with all things cosmetic!!

I've been quite lucky as far as packaging materials go for posting ebay sales, I keep boxes I get in at work under my desk along with bubble wrap and anything else that is re-usable!! It seems to do the trick and I rarely have to buy packaging. Plus it saves the bins at work overflowing with boxes!!

Well my ebay buyer was understanding thankfully, but I did offer a marginal discount on the item which I thought was only fair.

I always recycle packaging and have loads of brown paper and bubble wrap but I had run out of mailing bags. Just as I wrapped my last yesterday improvising somewhat, a courier delivered me a parcel and it was wrapped in a humoungus mailing bag, so that should keep me going for a couple of weeks in small items lol.

I want everything now as well all the time, it's frustrating having to wait for things all the time lol.

Plan for this morning is to make a cottage pie for dd's lunch, my dinner to take to work and the others can reheat theirs for dinner tonight.
Get a couple of items on ebay this morning before I go to work.

My bank acc is all over the place at the mo which is frustrating as I need things to go out and come back in so I can see where I am for the rest of the month.

That was good, that you had an understanding buyer - phew! Nice of you to offer the discount too - I hope you get good feedback for that!!

Ha - that was lucky getting the package wrapped in a giant bag, should keep you going on posting your ebay sales!!

Good job on the dinner plan - you sound like you have it completely under control! I need to think of something else to take to work for lunch - had pasta for the second week running today and I've had enough!! Glad I'm on holiday next week so no need for lunch boxes!!

Have a good day at work!!

I'm not always on the ball but I really get cross with myself when I go to the shop to buy lunch or dinner and randomly buy carp and spend loads of money so I am trying lol.

One more ebay item sold this lunch time so a few more pennies when they come in.

:j Woo hoo for the ebay sale!! I love getting the emails... "Your Ebay Item has Sold" lol I'm getting such a saddo!!

I know exactly what you mean about getting cross with yourself for buying stuff at lunch times, I used to go to a take-away not far from our office everyday, but it was £4.10 one day, £3.60 the next, and before you know it you're at the bank every second day taking out the odd tenner here and there! Plus I almost always had chips anyway, so its better healthwise the old packed lunch!
