Thanks DC I just might if it all comes through in time.

I had a think about the credit card last night buy I could tell OH wasn't too keen. He wants to chuck all his surplus from his wages next month and the month after at it to clear it, which is great in principle but I keep telling him he's going to have a day when he is going to want or need to spend something and by not being able to will only make him splurge bigger later, but we'll see.

I'm going to get this loan under 2k and then start to tackle the comet card as its interest is dire. Plus there's only about 300 on there so it shouldn;t take too long to clear it theoretically.

Doing some ebaying later, but some of that is dd2's clothes so funds from that go strauight to her new winter wardrobe fund, but the rest go to the debts.

I have listed her cot on ebay and will list a bathroom cabinet as well later as that could bring in some cash. Here's hoping with the end of the month coming up. I'm going to relist all my tat to end next sunday and hope for the best.

Off to visit both set of parents today so not a lot of time for poor oh to enjoy fathers day.

I'm going to give myself a mini target list for today in the hope that I actually achieve something.
I have redeemed a £10 next voucher this morning so that will go towards either mine of dd2's new clothes for the autumn/winter.

    - take electric / gas meter reading not done but i did clean the bathroom and sorted all the washing
    - meal plan for next week and do the shopping online done £5 under budget but still spent too much for my liking
    - find out how much OH's phone bill is under budget this month so I can transfer the difference somewhere.
    - get three new ebay listings ready to upload tonight. did one, well 2 but with all the new shifting ebay have done this week it didn't like one of my listings

Morning Yukkibear! Good plans for the day! I always find breaking down chores into smaller lists easier to actually follow through. I have £100 of next vouchers from work coming soon, have the £43-ish on my account to pay but can't decide whether to treat myself with the rest or sell them and chuck it at the credit card. Will see when they arrive!

Hope your day goes to plan and you get everything done!!

I would treat yourself especially if there are things you need. I say this because I have always been of the sell them party and now I am finding I am getting more depressed when I realise I don't have anything new or nice to wear, so I think spending on yourself sometimes is actually good for the debt management lol.

Woohooo for a payment, I am desperate to get rid of my contract phone as don't use it at all really so spend £40ish a month for nothing, have to wait a year to cancel though booo.
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Thanks Yukkibear, I think I might just do that... I should be doing okay with the credit card by then anyway, I have my £30 cheque and my Quidco £57 so I might round that up to £90 which would take me down to just over £100 on the card to pay.

I know what you mean about getting depressed about not having anything nice to wear, so if I use my vouchers as a treat I won't feel guilty about spending!!

Well done on your payment, I see your sig has changed! I'm having a lull in ebaying at the moment, and I've said to myself I am not allowed to sit and list things until I have my report for uni finished... so on that note off to do my last section now!

Indeed it does DC, instead of wasting it all the little amounts will make something spectacular one day.

I've had a really bad start to the day today. I ordered my dad a personalised present and it's wrong! Need to investigate but I not sure what will happen. I need some cheap wonderful ideas for a pressie now lol.

On the up side I have taken my gas and electric readings today so will investigate that later.
