  • I paid off my overdraft at the end of September with most of my annual bonus and have got through October still in the black. So that should be the end of overdraft charges on my main account as I am determined to stay OD free (DF will take longer....)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
today something wholey new and unusual happened...

the bank GAVE me extra money!

i was withdrawing money to add to my pot (see sig) from a cheque which had cleared today and the bank man gave me an extra ten pence in cash! i checked my internet banking and the correct amount i wanted is on there, so i made ten pence profit :j

now the honest good person side of me told me to go back in and check with the guy at the time...but then i thought of that £623 of charges they've taken from me in the past six years and i thought nah! i'm taking that tenp
