yep - thought so, Rockley Park is out!!! £600 for 4 nights at the end of July in a Standard caravan.

I don't know of any caravan places which are in a central location - ie you don't need a car...most are out of town inthe country side.....I think a B+B or a hotel will be best. There are B+B's in Poole (Poole doesn't have much accommodation, just a few B+B's and hotels) and lots of hotels in Bournemouth.

This is in an excellent location for buses and is a 2 minute taxi ride to the train station and shops in Poole and the park is a 5 minute walk away where you can also get the bus to Sandbanks beach.

Thanks for the information hun... i even went so far as to consider Hoeseasons or Butlins but neither were affordable... i was initially attracted to the thought of kids club and bingo!! lol!!

I've googled my head off looking for places, and nothing is leaping out at me... i suppose i like the relative safety of knowing that Sal would be nearby in dorchester, although being on the coast would be nicer for walks n stuff.... erin likes a walk along a beach provided it includes an icecream... ! she's not as keen on countryside, well we have a lot of that where we live so i suppose it's less novel!

I might splash out on a nice B&B in central dorchester and throw in a few bus/train daytrips when we can get best of both worlds....

Plus if we have a minimeet then even better!!

Mind you, it'll only have been a matter of weeks since Leeds at that time!

Sammy - definitely you should come and sleep over, bring Dora!!

Bunny - when are you down anyway? i did know Sal's holiday dates but forgotten them now!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I've had a right hunger on me today...had to have another chocolate bar after the Dr's tonight, then some skips and a few other really nice but too embarassing to say treats...
