Morning all.
I've been "up" since 5.15am when Wayne brought me a cup of tea and then he changed Evie's nappy before he left for work. All I had to do was feed her and settle her back into the moses basket (which she now sleeps in - hooray!)
Since then, I've:
downloaded abobe reader 9.1
completed child benefit form
found the paper and printed said child benefit form
Fed Evie and settled her back in moses basket - again
contacted working tax credits people to obtain a claim pack
For the rest of the day I need to:
Iron (there's a range of ironing mountains that I need to tackle)
Vacuum - at least the living room carpet (the vacuum only weighs a couple of kilos so isn't too bad and it's downstairs so I don't have to carry it up- or down- stairs)!
Wash - crockery and cutlery
Eat - breakfast and make something for lunch
Drink - plenty of water!!!
Hope everyone has a good day

I hope your DH has suffered nothing more than bruising to his hand and foot but I'm also relieved for you that he's relatively injury free! Finger's crossed that the news from A&E is good.

Thanks for the reminder of the day-it's the ex's birthday and I'd never have remembered to remind DS to ring him to wish him happy birthday without it.
You just saved me from a sulking ex -thanksI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Morning all
Sall - Oh No, like Catt says hopefully its just bruising. But hope you're all ok.
Catt - Good to be home eh
Not much on the agenda today except for ironing and sexy midwife visitThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Good luck with midwife visit, Lenny. I can't believe I forgot to share with the world that Evie has gained 50grams!!! Admittedly she's still down 420grams on her birth weight but it's a BIG step in the right direction.
I'm going to stop giving her the formula with her 'before bed' feed - she didn't wake up during the night for a feed so she went 7 hours without a feed, which tells me she wasn't hungry enough to wake up! this will take her to one formula feed and two Expressed milk feeds in addition to 'on demand' feeding (or every 2 1/2 hours if she doesn't wake/demand feeding)!
Lenny, you don't fancy tackling my ironing mountain range do you?

Sally poor fella, glad to hear it's not mega serious but i bet it's still bleeding sore! So, down to business, what are the implications for your weekend? I guess he won't be fit to drive? You were right when you said he wasn't going to be come in the end!!!
Cat - sounds like you're coping well and well done to Evie on the weight gain! Enough with the housework already though!!!
nowt to report here.... all quiet in the land of maz...
runclub was good last night.
BB/Sal - re the travelodge rooms, they don't start til the end of August, i thought it was right thru, so i guess it's a no go for Bournemouth. Back to plan A, Duck House B&B... unless BB can help me find a nice cheap residential caravan end July/start August for 5 night (any 5, doesn't have to be mon-fri)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
