  • Afternoon all!

Sal, sorry to hear about your husband. My dad used to be a biker so I know how worrying it can be. At least it turned out nothing was broken.

It's been one of those days here too, in a way. My grandparents have gone back to Scarborough so me and my grandma had a bit of a cry earlier. I'd now sat here feeling sorry for myself. I just rang up in response to a text I got yesterday, thinking it was about my c/c going over the limit, to find that Lovefilm have passed some unpaid DVD rentals onto a DCA. I didn't catch their name but they seem ok so far, all they sent me was the one text. Then again, they're only chasing £20. It was just a silly mistake of mine. I lost my debit card the other month, cancelled it (as you do) and forgot to change my account details. So I've e-mailed Lovefilm to cancel my account and I'll pay the DCA the money as soon as the MB comes back in my account. I told them Mon but I should be able to do it tomorrow.

I've also burnt my little finger on my left hand on the metal bit of my seatbelt yesterday, which hurts a bit when I type. And Aunt Flo is here. :(

Well, now I'm done complaining, I'd better go pay my c/c bill and get some washing on. At least doing something should cheer me up a bit.

  • I've just updated the numbers on my sig, since I realised they were out of date. Just in case anyone wondered why it'd suddenly changed.

wow - not much chat today.

Sally - very glad your hubby is ok - very lucky man seeing it was a bike he came off.

Maz, I'll have a looky see for any caravans. Rockley Park in Poole will be very expensive I think, but there may be other sites, not sure. I don't think there is one in Bournemouth.

I had a strange end to my working day. Won't bore you with the detail, but i've updated my diary - I once heard a saying 'every day, do something that scares you' and I heard myself saying it today when I was standing outside our beauty treatment room at 1pm today!

Ooh I didn't know you had a diary (*mutters about stoopid separate diary forum*)... sounds like a good experience, well done for facing your fears ;)

Had a hassley afternoon sorting other people's mistakes  and wondering why money hasn't transferred onto my prepaid card as fast as it normally does  Got a new bank account with Visa Electron so I really need to get sorted out to get my wages in there instead.

Ah well I'm off to get my new trainers and running gear after work :j
