But the ilegal outweigh the legal lol

How do the illegal immigrants cost us billions? Do they cost us more than British people who dont want to work, rather than cant or cant find work?

If they work illegally, then they must also be spending their money here too, therefore helping the economy. As alot of legal foreign workers pay their taxes here, and alot of their wages here too.

So the OP is a load of rubbish!
I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

The OP has a point in that money earnt in the UK is transferred out of the UK to other countries though whatever he feels needs to be done will need far more money thrown at it to monitor it than what we would probably recover anyway.

Money moving out of the UK (after normal living expenses) does not provide the taxman with taxes on savings or investments nor on purchases when these are made. All the taxes will go to those in other countries.

The other side of me thinks, that they have earnt the money fair and square, why should we be able to dictate where people spend their money? For example, you may well take 3 holidays a year where the money spent on these is earnt in the UK but contributing to someone elses tax revenues.

Its a difficult one and most definately left on the bank burner for now.

Don't rule out taxes on transfers out of the country though this will have to be on all nationalities, not just those who aren't british citizens therefore I don't see it really taking off to be honest.

immigration can be of benefit to a country, it depends how well those people are used and produce in the country. Its usually the case that people with professional qualifications or high earnings are welcomed but labourers are restricted

illegals arent really a budget issue

I was shicked and dismayed to see that IMMIGRATION was completely ignored in the budget.

Surely one way to redress the current fiscal inequalities would be to ensure that immigrants cannot just waltz over here and acrue a wage and take it back out of the country again.

A end to immigratyion would save this country BILLIONS and start to heal the massive social divides and tragedies that have occrurred with undchecked immigration. Justr look at the huge social issues in Burnley, Oldham, Mnachester etc. These race wars have been caused by just letting in anyone and not thinking about how it affaects the indigioeous population.

I am saddened that the goverment have again bottled this issue. :(

Because the Finance Bill sets taxation and spending levels for the current year. Immigration is dealt with separately.

Similarly, the wars in Iraq and Afganistan aren't discussed as part of the finance bill debate despite them both being very expensive.

A more long-term approach would be to incentivise the indigineous population to work (either through rewards or sanctions) so that this once proud country does not havr to shamefully rely on immigration to fill gaps in the labour market.

It's not relying on self-motivated immigrant labour that's shameful. It's the fact that we need to use the carrot/ stick method to get a whole section of the British population to work. As a nation we need to take a hard look at how we are raising our kids.
