No Idea if he owns the property I wouldnt know how to find out as for saving yes I agree its a lot but In this day and credit crunch Its All I can aford and dont see why that means its ok for us to get ripped off just because we we cant afford butlins pricesCozworth806 wrote: »Does he own property that they are living in?
You could look at a charging order to recover money with possible forced sale application?
Although I sympathise with being ripped off I wonder how much folks were actually saving when trying to buy a holiday through this rather than going direct.0 -
Well if I had of booked direct with butlins for a 3 bedroomed chalet it would of cost me a whopping £847! so I WAS saving £587,which is a heck of a saving. If Butlins didnt charge so much:mad: then people like me would actually book direct with them!!!Cozworth806 wrote: »Does he own property that they are living in?

Sorry mustnt reply to many times AS IT LOOKS SUSPECT yes it would of cost me over £1000 to book through butlins for 7 days so who in there right mind would pay that when other options are available.daz12 you have 3 posts on here and all in this thread, and potshot has 5 posts! All a bit suspect I'm afraid!0 -

I saved:rolleyes: £280 by booking his caravan instead of booking direct with Butlins, the only reason i booked the caravan was because my young son wanted to stay in 1, i usually book silver apartments. but what difference does that make anyway
are you saying i and many others deserved to be ripped off by this conman because we didn't go direct with butlins:mad: 0 -
The mods have removed my post, (and potshots, where he offers the owners address ) where I question who he is,but daz has now posted...saying a similar thing.....? You can findout owners of a property by visiting the voters register at the council.
Be wary of new posters offering information by pm,yet giving little else away.0 -
Hi, I also booked and paid for caravan at Butlins with Mike Fisher and recieved letter telling me he was insolvent.Have notified paypal and raised dispute(obviosly a waste of time) Phoned consumer direct and contacted administraters. Guess what? Blue sky is still trading. Like previous people I believed I was booking through private individual but when paperwork came it was Lucy's Caravans (booked in October) Then in January recieved letter saying Lucy's caravans were taken over by Blue sky. They also tried to sell me caravan hire for 2010! I only smelled a rat later when trying to add extra name. Then I phoned Skyliner direct to check Mike Fisher was an owner and they said he was. Since recieving latest letter I phoned them again only to be told he had never owned a caravan there but was in the process of purchasing. They denied that anyone told me otherwise. So what happens now, he is obviosly a con man. Can the police prosecute him? sorry for going on, I feel such a fool and my grandchildren are devasted.0

i have just spoken to trading standards and apparently if you booked via ebay and paid money to mr m fisher then your contract is with him personally, not blue sky lettings. he is liable to reimburse you not the ltd company. i have been advised to send a recorded letter asking for a refund within 14 days and see if that gets me anywhere.
I was told to do the same, they have templates to help you.0 -

i have contacted the police and have been told that they cant do anything as its a civil matter. funny how i thought fraud was a police matter!

i have mr fishers adress as he sent my booking confirmation with 2 S.A.Es and i kept one with my paperwork. but i understand i cant post it here
other than that i really dont know what else to do other than write a letter (cant see it getting me anywhere)
what is everyone else doing?0
