hired caravan now ebayer ceased trading!!!

i have also been scammed by the fisherclan as has my friend we are going to the police today to see what we can do. consumer direct said we can sue him if we have his home address which i have so i will be starting court proceedings shortly altho the chance of getting any money are slim. i have heard from another ebay user that he is sunning himself in spain at the mo with our money but not sure if that is true. i suggest you try do the same as i am otherwise put it down to experience but by doing this he gets away with it and is still able to con ppl.

hi, sorry im new to this site but was searching for ppl in the same boat as me and this came up. i also booked a holiday with thefisherclam on ebay and yesterday recieved a letter, with no contact numbers etc saying they had gone bust! was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what can be done? thanks x

Me and my sister have booked 2 caravans from Blue Sky Lettings and I have recieved this letter today that they have ceased trading!!!!!!!! I thought this was too good to be true,does anyone know what we can do? I rang the number and the lady who answered said they have rented offices there and now they are gone! there was nothing she could do as she didnt work for them,help I feel like crying our children are going to be so dissapointed.

no the letter says 9th april so only 17 days :mad:.

I also had a letter about our caravan holiday yesterday we were due to go tomorrow, I found out earlier in the week when Iphoned Butlins to check if we could collect the keys late, the lady told me there wasn't even a caravan on the plot number Ihad been given. She also saidthat trading standards were investigating as Mike fisher didn't own the caravans he was renting they were other peoples he was subletting.. They were called Lucys Caravans up until January when they became Blue Sky Lettings.
