i have just spoken to trading standards and apparently if you booked via ebay and paid money to mr m fisher then your contract is with him personally, not blue sky lettings. he is liable to reimburse you not the ltd company. i have been advised to send a recorded letter asking for a refund within 14 days and see if that gets me anywhere.

Hi I also received this letter yesterday. we paid £500 for 2 caravans for 10 days in october. I have contacted the police for this matter as I belive that it is some sort of fraud as this M fisher didnt even have the caravans he was letting and some that he has let are not even on the butlins site they are empty plots. So I am now waiting for the police to come and take formal statement.will post when I have any news on this. Also Any one that has not contacted trading standards yet you must contact suffolk trading standards I think the guys name you need to speak to is lee nunn I have done this to day and they are building a large case to hit him with.this Fisher bloke should not be allowed to get away with this.

How does anyone know you are genuine.
You might be giving a false address, who knows who you are.
This guy is genuine I had the guys address from him. been and checked it out and spoke to next door and they confirmed that the fisher clan still live there. So if you want his address what have you got to lose ...

i have also been scammed by the fisherclan as has my friend we are going to the police today to see what we can do. consumer direct said we can sue him if we have his home address which i have so i will be starting court proceedings shortly altho the chance of getting any money are slim. i have heard from another ebay user that he is sunning himself in spain at the mo with our money but not sure if that is true. i suggest you try do the same as i am otherwise put it down to experience but by doing this he gets away with it and is still able to con ppl.
    hope this helps
    nicky
no not true he is at home in ipswich as got door slamed in my face today.
This bloke is a complete con artist I to am thinking of going to the courts dont hold out much hope though as all he has got to do is declare bankruptcy and no money:confused:

daz12 you have 3 posts on here and all in this thread, and potshot has 5 posts! All a bit suspect I'm afraid!
  • Does he own property that they are living in?
You could look at a charging order to recover money with possible forced sale application?
Although I sympathise with being ripped off I wonder how much folks were actually saving when trying to buy a holiday through this rather than going direct.
    Nothing to see here
