And Carphone Warehouse today buy Tiscali for 236Million. Good luck !0

talk talk = double trouble. Inida call centres, they will mess you about with go live dates for your broadband and guess what happens when there is a fault. they have to goto bt wholesale to then go down the chain to openreach.0

TalkTalk don`t have Inida call centres or even INDIAN call centres, so get your facts right.0

Well so far so good. TalkTalk were supposed to take over our BB service from Tiscali yesterday...and they did. TalkTalk were supposed to take over our phone line from Post Office yesterday...and they did. All working (except BOTH the microfilters they sent) and I'm saving money, even though they also bought Tiscali yesterday who were charging us more for the BB!Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0

"I managed to get through to someone in Delhi today and I was then transferred a total of five times over the next hour."
The weekly Gripe? More like the weekly TRIPE
So they were on the phone for over an hour?
They`re only guessing it was Delhi.
I`ve never been told from an overseas call centre where they are situated,in fact the opposite, they`re not very keen to let you know.0 -
If they don`t take offence or cut you off at the first question.
The big drawback about any call centre, you never get the same person twice.
"Hi,I`m Fred how can I help you today?"
If you ask Fred anything awkward or he doesn`t really know the answer, you get put on hold (forever) or cut off.
But try ringing up again and ask to be put through to Fred.
There`s 6 Freds here,which one is it.
Overseas centres seem to have a certain Q&A in front of them and anything not on it they`re baffled.0 -
Does Ireland count as "overseas"? The Post Office have been putting off closing my Late father's Homephone & BB service for over a year now and they even get rude and put the phone down on the Citizens Advice assistant who has been trying to cancel his contract. I even have names and call log numbers from my conversations. But what do you do with these? Phone them again and get told the same. Lets face it - home or abroad call centre staff will only treat you how the last customer treated them...its a case of getting their own back on someone, anyone. If your with one company and you get bad service you leave and go to a "better" one until you have cause to complain then you get the same service all over again.
The only big company that appear to really take customers seriously, answer the FREE customer care phone consistanty within half a dozen rings and actually help are Atlantic (a part of Scottish & Southern Energy). Just take a look at their customer reviews on the utility switch websites. Its a pity they don't do phone and BB serices yet, but here's hoping!Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0 -
