I've heard of phone account for example where people have rung up and said they heard of them on MSE, I mean !!!!!!....

Then all they are doing is exposing themselves as a bonus abuser and will have their account closed/gubbed pretty damn swift.

It doesn't mean the offer is going to be pulled. The bookies know we are here. We know the bookies know we are here. And we know the bookies know we know we know we know.....................!

I never understand why this rubbish pops up again and again.

The difference in risks between MB and CB is obvious, even to a moron I would have thought. There are occasionally 'lock in a profit' casino offers and they are usually allowed here.

If you want to discuss casino offers, go to any of the half a dozen excellent boards where you CAN discuss them. TGT is awesome.

I think the poll options should be:

I have made money from MB
I have lost more money than I have earnt from MB

Edit: I would be surprised if everyone didnt vote option 1

As the OP has stated, that wasn't his point.

Care to enlighten me as to what his point was then? Other than to annoy people?

As many people have said in this thread there is very little in this life that is risk free. I think he understands perfectly well the variance that goes with Casino bagging and the riskier nature of it. I myself have sworn off it for awhile due to terrible swings that I just couldn't stomach.

Technically, as long as you do everything correctly, driving is risk free. That doesn't mean there aren't inherent risks with driving. An idiot could crash into you (see UTT's gnoming thread), your wheels could fall off, anything could happen. But as long as you understand the risks, that you are doing everything in your power to make it risk free (ie sticking to the guides above) you can't really account for mishaps.

Casino bagging is like getting in a car with no brakes, there is a risk presented to you right at the start that you know about up front. You may make it to your destination, you may crash along the way, it is sheer luck. That is the risk that is banned from this board. A risk that every single casino you signup to you lose at, a risk that you'll never ever get positive variance. A risk you can forsee, and that has affected many people that Casino bag.

Matched betting has nothing like the variance that Casino bagging has, and I'm sure the original poster understands that, but was getting petulant about what this board represents. Don't like it, as many others have said, post somewhere else where you can discuss it. Don't make a childish poll to garner a reaction from people.

Can't believe I actually spent this long spelling this out. :money:

Sheesh! I can't believe you spent so long putting all that down and came up with such contradictory rubbish. (See post #43 for reason by the way)

You say in one sentence that driving is risk free if you do it correctly, and the very next one claim there are inherent risks involved with driving. Hmm, do you see what you have done there?

It is not sheer luck as you claim whether you lose or not at every casino you play. Statistics prove that it is known beforehand what the expected return will be for each game, and this is guaranteed to be achieved longterm. Yes, you might lose some but the risk is no greater of that than losing in matched betting due to one of the points in my original post (which people seem to constantly overlook). In my view it is much more likely that you will lose more money on a single bookie offer than is possible on a casino one.

I don't really wish to have casino offers listed here, but do find the hypocrisy of not allowing them, but allowing betting loopholes a bit galling.

Yes, unknown risks that can't be accounted for before you get behind the wheel. That is my point. Almost everything you have listed in the first post can be avoided if people read up on what they were doing, other than (which is my point) things that can't be predicted.

bookies welching on bonuses (bluesq, sportingbet) - Don't sign up to something when you don't meet the Terms and Conditions.

accounts closed because of IPs, multiple sign-ups from internet forums (betjoint) - Again, be careful in what you're signing up for. Don't make multiple accounts.

dodgy RAFs (partybets) - Don't RAF, UTT's thread surely outlines the risks, and reading up on the Smellybum debacle if people are sensible they wouldn't do it.

bookies going bust (goldvictory, betchance) - Unforeseen (what I'm talking about above), and usually indicated by a ridiculous reload. Again, abit of research and could be avoided.

rule differences (rule 4, tennis) - Read the rules of each bookie, know your market.

abandonments (football, baseball) - Unforeseen and again, a read of the rules could tell you what would happen at each bookie.

people making a mess of their bets and losing a pile (no names mentioned to save embarrassment) - Again, easily avoidable if people followed the rules correctly.

Casino bagging has a foreseen risk before you even get involved. If people want to take that risk, it is entirely up to them, I know I do occasionally. This board is for the risk-free (bar unforeseen things, which could happen in any walk of life) gambling offers.

To be honest, I'm not arguing because it's not worth the time or effort, as you are clearly not listening to the majority of things people have been trying to say to you. I'm not sure what you're even trying to drive at or accomplish?

Rubbish - there is no guarantee. Something might be statistically unlikely but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

There is no guarantee as they are all independant events. Just because I lost at a casino the last 10 times I played doesn't mean I won't lose on the next 10 times.

Rubbish, if you read what I said it is guaranteed.

The only way it would not be true is if the player was not following correct strategies, or the casino in question did not play fair by either fixing its games or refusing to pay out. This is just as likely at a bookie with them either palping a bet, refusing a payout or the player failing to follow correct strategy.
