there is an option at the top of the personal details page you can click to pay via switch, otherwise you just open a credit account, Its not very clear I stumbled upon it

Early on in the ordering process there is a pay by credit card tab.It's easy to miss.

what a terrible system! :mad: I got to the last "thanks for your order" page but no customer or order reference number and didn't put in card details. Also no confirmation email. Nothing.

So called them this morning to make sure I'd actually placed the order (an 0870 number i might add) weird system on the phone as well, get to an operator and she says my details won't be on the system for 7 days... yet the item supposedly arrives in 3-4 days! She offered to place the order again over the phone, but er, says I, wouldn't that mean I've ordered it twice? Well it might or it might not, was her informative answer since they couldn't tell either way - and neither could I.

It's a farce.

Anyway rant aside, such a good bargain. Did anyone else not recieve the email (I checked a day later as well), or does this mean my order hasn't been placed? I can only hope that they'll be so confused by themselves they'll 'forget' to invoice me for the order after delivering it.

ms delightful - carbon copy of my experience - except that i ordered it over phone as she said the internet order wasn't on the system and therefore didn't exist. All a bit strange - anyway I might have 4 cameras and 2 coffee whatever they are. Can't argue with the price though.

0870 numbers are an ourage! Renewing blasted passports at the moment - it costs a fortune and you have to pay thru the nose for the calls - the goverment are some of the worst offenders.

I hope mine went through, I did the same thing MsDelightful, but sent them an email earlier.....sounds like the chance of getting a reply are pretty slim if their over the phone CS is anything to go by.

http://www.saynoto0870.com sometimes give a freephone or cheaper alternative to to 08 numbers, it has saved me quite a lot in phone bills.

when did you order? I have been checking my credit card but nothing has been charged yet, which I presume mean they have not shipped my order yet.
