  • Afraid to say! GHDs are definitely the best

I have shoulder length hair (I've grown it from ear length!) and I've used GHDs since then... I straighten the whole lot when its a special occasion, and just flatten / iron /make manageable the front part daily....

If you are buying GHDs.... DO DO DO DO DO get some heat protection spray as well.... and don't touch the hot plates...as you'll get burnt!!

I have the thin (1 inch) ones and my flatmate has the wide ones as she has really thick, long gorgeous hair....

We love our straighteners and we've finally settled on GHDs.... and we'd recommend them :)

I've recently bought a pair of ghds (after buying a pair of 'cheaper' ones about two years ago and they were not very good - to be polite).

They only take about 10mins max to do your hair (I've got lots of fine hair with an annoying curl in it) - I had the straighteners, a heat mat and oil for about £85 from ebay (which included special next day delivery) - and they've been absolutely fantastic.

    Good luck

My brother-in-law is buying GHDs for my sister for Christmas. I was wondering where is cheapest to buy them as I need them delivered to my home address before Christmas. BTW my home address is in Northern Ireland! The cheapest I can see them online is £72.60 including p&p.

I need to get them ordered today, please help if you can!

LOL - it's a brand of hairdressing stuff - GHD's usually refers to hair straighteners. I think the cheapest I saw was on HQHair.com - around £70-ish.

Went through freefivers, they give 3.5% cashback. Got a 10% off code on this site, "Beautybible" and used my MBNA priority club card which gives a point for every £1 spent which equals free nights in hotels. The straighteners should have cost £75 and £2.50 p&p. They cost £75 - £7.50 (10% discount) = £67.50 + £2.50 p&p =£70.

If brother-in-law had purchased them in local hairdressing salon they would have cost £100. Now he gets them for £70 and I get £2.45 on freefivers and 70 points on my MBNA card!! :j :money:
